Its called reading people. I can generally tell what people are like 5 minutes of talking to them by the way they talk, act, dress, and respond and I can generally tell if I will like that person based on that alone. Its not 100% accurate but its close enough to be worth it. Certain behaviors or subjects they bring up will automatically make me think less of them and not want to associate with them. If you can't or don't do this your are either lying, unaware, or not human. I don't call them out and tell them they are idiots I just avoid them.

When someone doesn't like you because of your personality?

You call them normal.

If someone doesn't like you because you're a nerd?

Then they don't like nerds. They're allowed to.

Bigoted and borderline fascist really. I had a case of this in art class one day. There I was sat sketching a photo of a pen pal I knew, cute girl sat by the window in a santa hat.
I get one of the classes snobby girls to come along and blatantly announce "I feel sorry for that girl"
If I had the confidence and attitude I do now...well you can guess. I have no tolerance to any and all judgmental behavior, even if it's from my friends sometimes but as you can imagine I'm easier on them as to some stranger with an attitude problem heh.
What? What are you talking about? Where does fascism come into this? What does your story have to do with anything?

Aaaaaaaaaaah
Well I don't THINK I'm a nerd....and I don't think I've done anything to make the person in question think I'm a nerd....or what I heard "too nerdy"

Well "Like" means I like your personality, so it does not equate to racism, which uses a feature of someone that isn't their personality.

Well, personally I'd automatically gain a liking for that girl in the corner. However that's the exact same as the person disliking her. Swings and roundabouts.

Just an example of how someone took a look at me, analyzed me in an instant according to their narrow minded view and cataloged me. The story may not be exact to what the OP asks but I felt it was semi-relevant :p

Well... okay. I don't see how it is, but I'm not gonna start something. I don't see how you can have no tolerance to judgemental behaviour, as thats just what people do. You judged her as being snobby and narrow minded, when maybe she's hurting inside and taking it out on people she doesn't know.
Oh nah she wasn't one of those types who would lash out to disguise some inner pain or her own frustrations at not being able to form a civil conversation (and all other psychological stuff pertaining)
Nah I knew this girl for a while, grew up in the same village. Didn't care to know me or talk to me, just made snide offensive remarks as the aforementioned story before and was a real class example of some jumped up varsity girl (or whatever the expression is to describe a nasty spiteful girl who couldn't give a rodents rectum about those who weren't in her "group" of "friends")

Irrational would be what I would go with.

He presumes much and derives conclusions from that, not even knowing if its true.

Village eh? Hmm. Kick her in the ovaries? Haha, I love that call.

Alright, so she's a tool, but I still don't see the relation with fascism or bigotry.
I know it's not strictly to do with anything governmental wise, but just the instinctive nature that fuels fascism to lash out at that which doesn't conform to what it deems is right.
Bigotry I feel is another aspect where somebody can be so focussed on their own beliefs and such, eventually leading to certain levels of animosity to those who again, won't share the same frame of mind.

Humans will always be quick to label and analyze that which they don't understand. That I understand and can't/shouldn't waste a lifetime convincing people to change their ways. That's just how I personally perceive it and call it really.

Well people should base their opinions on you based on your personality. I find that if a person bases their opinion of you on anything else, that would be prejudiced. What else is there to base off of?

The people I don't like have a personality hat I don't like. It's not that I don't like how they look, it's not that I don't like the faith or opinions, it's that I don't like their behavior and general persona. Maybe I didn't understand the OP, but I find nothing with disliking people based on their personality. I feel that a persons personality is what you should base your opinions off of more than anything.

EDIT: If this thread is about people disliking you for your perceived personality and not getting to know you before judging what your actual personality is like, then I agree with everyone else that it's prejudiced, douchy, stupid, etc.
^ This. Personality is the only thing you can base your opinions of people on, life is like that, everyone isn't supposed to like it each other. They can however be civil to each other. If this person is going out of their way to show their dislike and abuse you then they are assholes. Otherwise, I'd label them as normal.

*shrugs* well I don't know you personally so I can't say much. But if they think you're a nerd, why can't they say so?
Cause it seems wrong? It's like calling someone gay when they're clearly not

Someone who I would walk away from and never look back. People who can't accept me for who I am, at root, are not worth a moment of my time.

That's what I like to say and believe, anyway.

I think the wording of your question confused some people. If this person took the time to get to know you, then they said they didn't really like your personality, that's legitimate. if they assumed based on appearance that you fit into one of the social classes typically found in a high school, such as nerd, jock, druggie etc., then he is prejudiced

Too many people are going based on label, disliking someones personality is something completely different than that.

Incompatible would probably be the best way.

No, it's not like racism at all. Disliking someone for their personality is completely valid. Like, if I find someone annoying I can feel fully justified in not liking them. Racism is where I don't even bother to find out their personality and consider my dislike of them a foregone conclusion based on their ethnicity or just skin pallor.

If I just assume negative things about your personality by your appearance then that is called profiling and is more akin to racism, though still not the same.

What do you call it when someone doesn't like you because of your personality? Like say if someone doesn't like me because I'm a nerd (although I don't classify myself as a nerd or label anything really) other then being shallow what would you call it? Although it's not racist, I can't help but feel it's basically the same thing as "Oh, I don't like you because you're black" or any skin color.
Well, you have a choice as to what your personality is, you can be a jerk or a nice guy, and that's your choice, as opposed to skin color where that is purely genetic, so I can judge you based on your choices, and that's not being prejudice at all, if you see a guy that drinks alcohol alot you aren't exactly gonna ask them to watch your kid for you, see what I'm getting at.

They're judging your interests, dislikes/likes, and hobbies (in your case, a sum of things people often refer to as 'nerdy'), but that isn't your entire personality. It simply makes up a part of who you are. And no, it's not "basically the same thing".

Those people aren't worth your time anyways.

I'd probably call it Life. Not everybody is going to like everybody, and that's ok. The only thing TO judge people on is their actions, or whether their likes/dislikes match enough with ours, since we tend to gravitate towards people with similar interests and values. So if someone doesn't like you, tough luck for them, and go find someone who does.
