Sounds like the shotguns in MW2. Muhahahaah I loot those and commence killing the kids that use them. Sweet, sweet justice.Christemo said:i´d define cheap as:
1. overpowered/ too powerful.
2. able to execute extremely long unfair combos.
3. has a 1 hit KO move.
This was the main reason why i stopped playing GOW2 two piecing is biggest cheap/ noob tactic i have ever seen.redjarman said:The reason I stopped playing GOW2.
EVERYBODY spamming punch/shotgun to the face combo. It was a mix of annoyance at getting killed so much, and boredom at the lack of variety. I wouldn't mind it so much it the shotgun wasn't a freakin default weapon.
And "scrub" is a word generally used by people who don't have fun playing video games - EDIT: and I don't like people like that, and I really hate playing with people like that - they're irritating both as teammates and opponents. As for "cheap does not exist" - if that's the case, why did you agree that "grabbing could be considered cheap in SF2 back when tech grab did not exist?" You're just being a troll.kanada514 said:I'm afraid you are a scrub at MVC2 just by your character choices. You can't afford to play non-Sentinel, Magneto, Cable, Storm characters and non-Psylocke non-Captain Commando non-Cyclops for assist. That's if you want to stand a chance of course.
However, you're not cheap, because cheap does not exist.
There are sistuations your opponent knows how do deal with, and those he don't.
If your opponent can't deal with a situation, I urge you to overuse that weakness and exploit it any way you can. In this case, your opponent is the scrub and you should punish him or her until the counter-situation is learned. Then, after your opponent has learned how to deal with the situation, he should thank you because you have made him better.
Arguably, grabbing could be considered cheap in SF2 back when tech grab did not exist. But even then, it was up to you, knowing that grabs were not tech-able to adjust your footsy and not approach your opponent unless you had a solid mind game ready.
"Cheap" is what scrubs say when they're overwhelmed by a far superior player. I always take it as a compliment.
you think grenades are cheap??.. um.. no.. if you die by a grenade thats your faultHardRockSamurai said:"Cheap" is when:

Sure, if you die by a grenade, that's that. However, if the person who killed you has taped over his grenade trigger, and misses most of the time; that's foul play.D: someone spams grenades in [insert game here]
Arggh the grenade launcher is not cheap! It takes a perk slot for starters so once you are out of nades your character is essentially gimped. It still in most situations requires LoS and to top it off you still have to aim it. The only people who say nade launchers are cheap are people who act in an entirely predicable way and keep getting killed in the same place again and again.Crystal Cuckoo said:The noob tube (grenade launcher) in COD4.
"Dur, I could aim at your head/body with my ironsights and shoot there, but I'd rather aim roughly at your feet and launch an explosive."
I only let it go for players under level 15. Hey, we were all new once, right?
The rest I disagree with, (With the exception of Grenades, but only when they are thrown randomly), but this I think is an accurate definition.HardRockSamurai said:"Cheap" is when:

You mean like the noob tube. Also the M1887 in MW2 is incredibly unbalanced. I saw a guy use it to kill some one with a single shot from, while not sniping distance, much farther than you should be able to with a shotgun. He barely even had the crosshair on his target (it was the winning kill cam. That's how I know where his crosshair was).CORRODED SIN said:"cheap" can also be defined as "noob." anything that everyone knows is cheap and easy, but use it anyways. thats cheap.
Well, when you put it that way..orangebandguy said:The TF2 Engineer. I mean it's just standing round next to a super gun with aimbot.
I just don't like playing him really. But demos are always ready to obliiterate him so it's all balanced.
