I´m currently working for a my Professor as..... something.
Mostly managing courses, reading resarch articles and deciding whether or not they could be interesting to him.
So I get teh moneyz for doing stuff I should probably do anyway.
Go me.

honestly I dont particually feel like I deserve it, and I can see why long term unemployment would be so depressing, my heart goes out to anyone in such a situation

The important thing is that your employer felt like you deserve it.

I work at Asda (the UK branch of Walmart for anyone who doesn't know what that is). Its an ok job, pays pretty well for my age and fits around school work.

oh and I have been succesful! I just got me a job in a nice office! (feel a little guilty as perhaps other guy deserved it more) but yay!!!!! Ive been waiting all day for the call!!

I do flooring. It's hard, tiring, inconsistent, unstable, I don't like my boss, and has low pay. I've been trying to get another job for 2 years and have only managed to get 2 interviews at Costco and Target :/

Im a Systems Support Specialist/Systems Engineer, Depends what the demand is like as to what work i am assigned by my employer. When in reality "Systems Support Specialist" Means no sleep for a week and "Systems Engineer" means carrying heavy shit (Servers + UPS's) Up and down stairs all day with some PC Repairs and construction on the side. Great Job otherwise!! XD

I am a rare breed, Being a broke College student, I currently hold two jobs. One in an upscale fish and chips shop - cooking, and the other with a solar initiative company - mostly doing installations and messing about trying to adapt every-day products to take a solar panel as oppose to an outlet.

As someone said - whatever you've got to do to pay the bills, right?

long term unemployed, fricken fracken job market is hell here! got laid off thanks to the economy tanking and now anything in my trade is already filled the second it hits the help wanted ads. buuutttttt.........

Ive been selling 3d models, custom work per request and pre made items via turbosquid. actualy make as much doing that as I did working. also going to estate sales, yard sales, and flea markets and collecting vintage and antigue items and selling on ebay for shits and giggles. my unemployment checks stopped coming last october and all bills are paid, food on table, and i can afford gaming still. I am not rich, never will be, never wanted to be, but I am comfortable and happy and thats what counts.

Also it wasn't real hate, more of the silly kind where I'm really just jealous.

edit: If I can drop another 25 pounds I can join the military so if I can't get a job I can do that(been planning on joining for some time anyway).
