What do you guys do during loading times?

I'm usually planning my strategy as I wait. Depending on the game I could go over the buttons again or read the little tips they display while it loads. The one thing I will NOT do is think about the cartridge days of yesteryear. Anyone who would do that is just asking for a rage stroke.

That's the thing - it really depends How long the loading is.

In between Team Fortress levels I'm quite happy to go take a leak.

Open a beverage or kill an already opened beverage. Take a quick bathroom run if needed. I haven't run into any really horrendous loading times in years though.

I nearly always have the TV running simultanously so i just zapp around. ATM im watching the good ol classic A-Team series while playing the Cataclysm Beta Long griffon rides can be annoying too-

... Depends on the game. The most recent example I can come up with is games like Borderlands or Mafia II where I read the tips and little bits they put up to help pass the time. When playing Borderlands I also tend to map out the bloody swatch of destruction I'm going to carve through the resident badguys ^_^

The only game I've felt the need to distract myself during loading is metal gear solid 4. I usually make a cup of tea and stretch my legs or something.

Seriously Half Life 2's loading times feel like they take an eternity to complete. What do you guys do to pass the time?

nothing, because by the time I would think to get out of my chair, the loading would be over -_-?
