unfortunatley I dont see it slowing down...only getting worse, I mean I dont mind "online" activation then it leaves me the fuck alone...but "always" online (while there hanvt been many cases of that) I feel might become a "thing"Dr. Pepper Unlimited said:As a PC gamer, the recent explosion of DRMs and always online bull. I also dislike how gaming nowadays is "YOU ARE THE PLAYER CHARACTER." It feels like such a cheap cop-out from making believable, non-GaryStu characters that aren't just cameras with mannequins attached to the bottom.
He wrote down "sequel" just fine, yet you write "seaquels" not once but twice? And you're from Australia where English is the native language?Vault101 said:......seaquels.....BAMredeemer09 said:no sequel to shadows of the damned ):
I.....really have no clever comeback for thatCowabungaa said:The days that I just fail at everything completely.
Nothing makes me rage more than one of those days that just everything fails. That I can't hit the broad side of a barn when sniping in TF2, when every time I join a server in BF:BC2 I get on the team that's loosing horribly, when I just get to the grindy boring bit of an RPG, etc etc.
It's worse when it's also a day that I really want to game for once, haven't played in a bit, but the games are all like "Nope! You can't game today!"He wrote down "sequel" just fine, yet you write "seaquels" not once but twice? Or if it didn't take four and a half hours to complete the game, and are expected the many other hours to come only from multiplayer since there was fuck all replayability in the main game; the main sufferer of far too many FPSs which could have been good.Esotera said:The industry. Their treatment of the people who actually do all the work is absolutely abysmal. It'd make the next AAA game I play more enjoyable knowing that the people who produced it actually got a fair deal for their work.
I think you're giving far too much credit to the people that run the industry. That's definitly not how they advertise each generation when they're trying to sell them. They pretty much talk about graphics and size.Hammeroj said:The moment you say "I don't care" is the moment people should stop caring about your opinion.ace_of_something said:Mostly I hate other people with headsets. That and the constant need to buy more hardware. I don't care at this point the graphics are as good as they need to be i just want to enjoy the game.
It's not all about graphics, genius, the problem is way bigger than that. The scale, the dynamics of environment, the complexity of the AI have all got a long way to go before people should stop caring about their advancement.
Well that wasn't very nice.Hammeroj said:The moment you say "I don't care" is the moment people should stop caring about your opinion.ace_of_something said:Mostly I hate other people with headsets. Edit: Oh oh, also, my gripe - everything Blizzard is doing. Apart from DLC, they're the epitome of everything wrong with the industry today, and the things that are going to be wrong tomorrow.
I empathise in every possible way. Online, people can be relied upon to be wankers.SixWingedAsura said:Other gamers.
No seriously. Call me anti-social or what have you, but 90% or even more of people I meet online are selfish, ignorant, racial-insult spewing, douchebags that only care about winning and being "t3h 1337zorz" or whatever it's called now. MLG pro? Whatever.
It's why I refuse to play online unless it's with friends or people in a close vicinity to where I am so I can smack them 'roundside the head for being a douchebag.
You've done well. I didn't mean to be quite so blunt in pointing it out but I was genuinely looking out for you.Shiny Koi said:Er... If you say so.Sud0_x said:^Take that down, brush up on the rules
I have read the rules though, and I'm not entirely sure how it's not legitimate. I'm about to specifically go back through the rules to check again. But in all seriousness, losing an activation code is an awfully simple thing to do, and I've had to use keygens for some of the programs I've legitimately purchased.
Edit: I can't see anything in the rules that would prohibit what I posted, but I will err on the side of caution given how draconian the rules/mods here are compared to the other places I post.
