What's your opinion on your own name?

Mines Dafydd, which can be a little tricky to live with as it's essentially only pronouncable with a Welsh accent =/ I live in England however.

On the plus side I rarely meet another, so I guess I stand out from the crowd a little.

My name is Shaun. You never see people with the same mnemonic name spelled that way. In fact, there's only two people that I've ever even heard of with that specific spelling; and those people are Shaun White (professional snowboarder) and Shaun Morgan (lead singer of Seether). So, I like it.

Depends, I always insist on going by my full first name, no shortening and the only nickname I will respond to is Pedro (yes, my OL nick is also my RL nick).

The only people I will allow to use my "shortened" name are my Dad, my Mom and my Girlfriend... and occasionally I let it slide with my best friend, but its a rarity.

Collin, it fit's with my personality nicely. you see the traditional spelling of my name is Colin(one l) and because of this people often misspell my name, and I get to be a prick.

By " any" I also include names given to me as a result of a certain tradition, or acceptance into another culture, or position etc.

Adena...I know actually a few women with this name, but they all start with an E.

Middle name is Lauranna...I just think it sounds good together.

Joshin... Meaning defiant, and thistle...given to me by my best friends grandmother when I was living in japan, as a way to welcome me as part of the family....I LOVE the name because...well ironically, being Scottish, and the thistle being a powerful symbol to my native culture I found it a good fit.

Mue... meaning " dream",and "picture/vision" given to me during a jukai ceremony

What's really bad is that around where I live, with the exception of one person, every guy I've ever met with the name of Michael has been a complete douchebag. Probably just a bad coincidence, though.

As for me, I think Christian is a nice name. I've gotten several compliments on it before, actually. ...Though why you would compliment someone for their name, something they couldn't pick or change themselves, is beyond me...
