Well right now I have the default windows 7 because I had to do a reformat (I don't want to talk about why)

before I had a rotation of 7 pictures, one from each of my favorite Anime. Elfen Lied, Death Note, Higurashi, FLCL, Trigun, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Hellsing.

Not sure yet if I'm gonna go with the fantasy theme again or do video games or movies this time.

My rule of thumb: Never have as a desktop background anything that would make a girl, who has come into my bedroom where the computer is, think twice about her decision to come in.

That means no gaming, geek, or other stuff like that. So I've got a Windows 7 standard image---there's mountains and big blocks of ice and the sun setting over the horizon.

On my laptop? A picture of Screwy Squirrel, because if she's using my laptop, chances are good she already knows how playfully screwy I am, so a cartoon picture---while she's on my bed naked, most likely---fits.

Wow, I haven't seen this thread in a while. It's a shame too, because I actually like these threads a lot. Most of the time it's just people placing their images in a large pile of other images, but sometimes these threads allow one to peer deep into another Escapists' psyche, therefore revealing just what kind of person that Escapist can be.

Anyway, my current wallpaper is quite chillax, and very definitive of my personality overall.
