Hey, cool!

I'll say "complex" and leave it at that.

I agree the best way to explain a 'real' password is "complex"
or just use chinese algebra. not even the chinese can understand it.

Wow, this thread is one huge trap ^_^

I tend to have a selection of passwords, and forget which ones I used for what :D keeps life interesting when my browser forgets logon details - I mean, it's not like I have any idea XD

I'm really boring, I use a random number generator and change them every month or so, I'm good at remembering numbers so it's a process that's always seems to work for me.

I remember that from RVB, it's a shame it ended on episode 100, I didn't like what they followed it up with afterward.

Surely no real human will use something as complex as a serial number.
Mine is a combination of 26 alphanumeric charecters that was randomly generated for me once, and I've memorized it since...

26 charecters...
**************************

Ofcourse, some places doesn't allow passwords of that length, so I just cut off how much is needed.

Well back in the day I used to play a very underappericated mmorpg know as "the realm", its still around today and was made by my favorite game company sierria who orignated in the humble town of oakhurst cal. by the way a town that is only 10 miles from where I live. Anyways back on topic the game assgined you a password which was would be somthing like 6hnj3 or something well eversince then I've used my realm password for evething and also my aunts dog's name for everthing else that won't let me use my password.

I will use and inside joke, a common word which I will misspell, or just run my hand along the keyboard in an interesting way that I can mimic like this "89iujhbn" or just type the "*" sign repeatedly so my password is actually "*******"

I use 3/4 passwords across a large range of accounts. They're a combination of letters, numbers, upper and lower case. They're quite long, and read as 'strong' on every site they're tested. All are easy to remember for me, and fairly complex. Might go ahead and replace all passwords soon though, just as a precaution.

I used to do this until I was talking to a friend of mine once and the topic got onto passwords and he said "Yeah, and then there are those idiots who used 'password' as if no-one would guess that"

I used to think I was so smart for using password...

Oh.. I have several.

Some of the less important ones are based on

<--- her.

more important ones are combinations of words and letters, and sometimes symbols as well (example: ***********) that are more or less impossible to figure out if you're not me. (they're based on stuff only existent in my mind)

How about we say that it is so simple that no one would guess it in about three weeks.Because saying a million years would make no sense at all.

All of my passwords are words spelled in HEX code.

For example, if my password is "Apple", the password would be "41 70 70 6c 65".

I use a 13 character password with numbers and randomly capitalized letters. It doesn't write a word, so I would say it's complex.

Most of my passwords are silly words, oddly capitalised, translated into leetspeak, and then with an underscore added in somewhere.
My password at work is simply from a book, and my email password is one of my favourite numbers, in reverse leetspeak.
[sub]e.g. 3 becomes e, 5 ecomes s, etc.[/sub]
