A girlfriend
This and if I can't have that I want people to stop rubbing the fact they are all happy couples in my face and let me get on with my miserable life.
Either of these. And yes I read the OP, but if I had the first one I wouldn't need or want anything else.

Not even a giant chocolate boob? :D
I think I have a chocolate fixation.

A nice evening with my girlfriend: a good meal out, a starry night and perhaps her giving me a backrub followed by me giving her a full-body massage and then a candlelight bath...

A bit corny, but she seems to like stuff like that every now and then. And it's not like I object.

... Does a girlfriend count as a material thing? Because I want one, God damn it. The only thing even close was a date the other day, but it just reeked of "going nowhere"-ness.

... I blame society.

This is number 4 I'm going on without a girlfriend.
I'm 19 and I have been single for all but one Valentine's day though I didn't really start counting till I was in my teens.

Nothing.

Valentines Day is the dumbest holiday ever! If you need a holiday to do something special for the one you care about then you have problems. You should buy them a gift and take them out because you care, not because a sign on a shop window said so.

Luckily my lady friend shares the same sentiment, so assuming we even see each other... nothing.

Ugh no! I can only handle chocolate in small doses.

For everybody to stop making such a big deal about it. Come on! How can you feel even a bit romantic looking at all of the pink and red, the little cupid figures, and all of the other chocolate-covered cliches that surround the holiday?

Okay, in all honesty, to go out with someone. Not to some restaurant, to a living room containing a TV with some console attached to it. Doesn't matter which one.

While existing on the material plane girlfriends aren't really objects. Unless they are realdolls.

My first and only date was when I was 13. So actually 3 years, not 4, but nothing before or after that.

I hate my life.

No, wait, I don't hate my life. I'm awesome. My life is pretty good. Everyone else in this town sucks, not me.

Women are not "possessions". Not anymore, anyways.
Also I would say this was a rather unfair suspension. He's right, women were once viewed as possessions.

I want something I can hold, something I can play with my fingers, something I can lick with my tongue.

A new xbox controller.

Hey man... that's not a bad idea. Now I just need $5 500 to have a "thing." Get it? Get it?
I'm so clever.

Exactly what I do, because if you don't take a somewhat misanthropic attitude you begin to self-loathe and lose what little confidence you have.

Man I watched a documentary on Realdolls... just sad. I swear that is the only subset besides gamers that gets less poontang.
