Old party members returning as new members in this one, for the inventory system to stay dead, more options for character customization (please, BioWare, make more than five hairstyles...), and to shoot the Illusive Man in the FACE.

The Reapers have arrived to kill everyone, and through some happenstance, Shepard gets a choice: To risk death and fight a Reaper one-on-one, or to side with the Reapers and end the rest of the galaxy.

I wouldn't mind seeing the older combat system make some kind of return. I loved both, but my lift, push combo was sorely missed in ME2.

I would like the game to go more than 10 minutes without crashing. I have a top-end PC, it runs Fallout 3 with extremely minimal issues. There is simply no excuse for ME's instability.

I want to lead my ENTIRE TEAM, not just me and two other guys, during the final mission. Preferably, this mission will be a zero-gravity sabotage mission on the surface of a Reaper, like the mission in Mass Effect 1 after Shepard and crew leave the elevator and ascend the Citadel Tower using magnetic plates in their suits.

Bigger and better plot. Don't get me wrong the plot from ME2 was alright, but compared to ME1, ME2's story seems like a footnote. ME1 had a bigger emphasis on plot and ME2 had a bigger emphasis on characters so hopefully ME3 will be able to perfectly balance the two.

Bring back the Mako and planet exploration, but give it more variety (I swear every planet I visited was the same but with a different color)

Combine tech and biotic abilities to create a new effect, kinda like in Dragon Age.

What the quarians look like as well as a focus on the Quarian and Geth War

I'd like to see a combination of the overheating and thermal clip elements

Bring back all surviving characters and develop them and maybe introduce 2-3 new characters

Ship combat, I wanna control the Normandy!!! EPIC SPACE BATTLES!!!

Make Shepard's past/background more relevant to the plot or his development as a character and I'm not talking about just one short side mission or an email.

There should be more missions and conversations that are connected to the decisions you make in ME1 and ME2 and less emails.

More capital planets to explore and make them bigger

Bring back inventory and loot System, and allow me to purchase weapons again

A combination of the upgrade system in ME2 and the upgrade attachments in ME1

He's supposed to be some foot soldier but every time i make a major choice or bring on a new team member he's there in the conferance room pushing their buttons and questioning my judgment. for a footsoldier he's way too opinionated to the point i feel he's really a spy for illusive man and really i want to shove him out an airlock

I want a bunch of flimsy, wooden, unconvincing romances that completely shatter my sense of immersion. Bioware has yet to disappoint me.

1. A good main plot that ends the series on a high note.

2. Tali and Garrus as squad mates again. Doesn't matter who else joins, so long as those two come along, I'll be happy.

3. A conclusion to the LI sub-plot.

4. Some negative consequences to Paragon actions from past games and vice versa for the Renegades. I don't hate paragons, but it should seem only fair if they end up getting screwed somewhere because of what happened in past games.

5. The return of some RPG elements. Like leveling up individual stats again but not ME1's crap inventory system.

6. The return of the Mako. Flame me if you want, I actually like driving in that thing.

7. A huge epic end game battle between Shepard and the galaxy vs. the Reapers. With important characters dieing no matter what. Certain characters need to die in exchange for letting other characters live. No perfect ending like last game.

8. A conclusion to some of the galaxy's other problems, such as the quarian/geth fued and the Krogan/genophage issue.

9. Wrex. Whether he be a squadmate again or leading the krogan against the Reapers. Make sure he has a big role in ME3.

10. Keep the gameplay mostly the same. Keeping number 5 in mind.

The hybrid ammo system, that they were going to use for ME2 and is still buried in a half finished state in the game files, where the "ammo" recharges as it does in ME1 but you have the option to eject a thermal clip to instantly cool the weapon instead of siting around for half a minute listening to "I will destroy you!" while your assault rifle with explosive rounds cool of.

No freaking shared cooldown of tech and biotic powers! It makes no sense!
