Fucking yes! Or atleast something that will tell us the fate of europe.ReservoirAngel said:Two words: London setting!
You lose karma for that because you aren't stealing from the NCR, not the gagngers. Damn near everything they own is stolen/appropriated from the 'good' faction.4173 said:Big Iron
And yeah, getting negative karma for stealing from the raiders I just slaughtered needs to die a painful death.
So much this. Don't get me wrong, New Vegas was a great game, save for all the crashes and bugs and whatnot, but it just didn't feel... right. I have been replaying it a bit lately, and it feels so much more closed than FO3. You more or less have to follow the main quest up 'til Vegas before you can do anything else, or Cazadores and Deathclaws will rip you a new one every time you step off the highway. It may have been that I live near DC, and go every month or two that gave FO3 the atmosphere I loved, or maybe it was the fact that the NCR is no Brotherhood of Steel and Caesar's Legion isn't nearly as cool as the Enclave. Not entirely sure.MiracleOfSound said:I want it to be as atmospheric and haunting as Fallout 3, then I'll be happy.
I'm an American, I support this.ReservoirAngel said:Two words: London setting!
What I loved Fallout New Vegas for it sacrificed its atmoshpere to head back to the dark humor roots of the first 3 games. Fallout 3, you could sequence break, SURE you could enjoy the story, but in New Vegas, the world WAS a character, which made exploring it more fun. Having a middle ground game would be 100% great, but as long as they don't try to make it serious, the games were all Dark Humor before this point, don't fuck it up with a new one. That One Six said:So much this. Sorry about the rambling; 2:30am is not the best time to form coherent thoughts.
Pretty much just that for a start; Gamebryo is starting to feel antiquated. Plus its gltichy to the extreme.Zetion said:Get rid of fucking Gamebryo.
There would be a problem with scripted rain during missions, since in Fallout you could abandoen the mission half/way through and just make it rain forever.Mr. Google said:I know that Fallout has been a big topic recently for what ever reason but while I was playing I just thought of how cool it would be to have something like weather in the game. Obviously in NV you were in the Mojave so rain would have been a little out of place but it still does rain occasionally in the desert so maybe if they had one story mission that had rain. Though it would be scripted it would still be cool. And where ever they have the next game I bet it will rain there so yeah. Weather. Sounds cool to me. How about you? What do you want added?
EDIT: Also no tunnels. Or if they REALLY have to make them less repetitive. I get it it's a ghoul and yes I have to climb these stairs. It got boring fast. Its the only reason I don't give FO3 higher than a 9.3
Yeah maybe the scripted part wouldnt work..UNLESS! Imagine the battle of Hoover Damn while it's Raining. I'm sorry but I honestly think that would be the COOLEST thing ever. Torrential downpour while the final fight is waged. ahhhh I would pay 20 bucks for that alone.kayisking said:There would be a problem with scripted rain during missions, since in Fallout you could abandoen the mission half/way through and just make it rain forever.Mr. Google said:I know that Fallout has been a big topic recently for what ever reason but while I was playing I just thought of how cool it would be to have something like weather in the game. OT: I want to see the humor and atmosphere of New Vegas and the polish of Fallout 3.
New Vegas' story was fresh. The Rockerfly said:Fresh story, I liked 3's but I know many NV fans hated it so a fresh new story would be needed.
