That I like Calvin and Hobbes. But not the sadistically grinning, constantly urinating Calvin and Hobbes that graces some shirts and tons of pick-up trucks. What I love about Calvin and Hobbes is the spirit of adventure and friendship one can have with someone/something that doesn't exist and means something different to you than anyone else.

Which is kind of how I feel about art. Something that appears different to you than anyone else, and gives you strength and joy when all else fails.
