What does your father do for fun?

He enjoys watching movies, working on the car, and watching hockey like many other syrup-blooded Canadians. The thing he probably enjoys the most is golfing and since he only has roughly 3-4 months to play each year he's out almost every weekend when the weather's decent.

My father quite enjoys travelling as well so the two of us go on a camping trip every summer if we can.

On his own? Golf. When me or my brother are available, video games. He's particularly fond of the Metroid Prime series and Duke Nukem (not my cup of tea, but that's one of the few games he can handle the controls of. Likes having the auto-center function for some reason). He doesn't have the eye hand coordination to play them himself mostly, so he plays through us. Shame he doesn't like RPGs like I do. But my brother's more of a console gamer than I am and their tastes line up nicely, so it all works out.

He reads and plays an absurd number of escape the room and adventure type games on his Kindle.

He's also building a Vineyard, but that's not as much fun.

Mostly golf and riding his power boat.

When with the family, we play tennis, play pool and watch movies.

My old man is hopelessly addicted to Candy Crush Saga.

Other than that, he enjoys a wide range of movies, watching American football, and spending time outside in the nice weather by the pool when applicable.

He cycles. Every Tuesday night he and his friends go for a ride and then go to the pub, and every Sunday they go for a ride and stop for soup and cake somewhere. When he's not out he's usually tinkering with one of his bikes. He's also a big alternative rock and punk fan, and likes a nice gritty crime thriller novel as well. Then, of course, there's the traditional north-eastern past time of watching Newcastle United get beaten 2-0.
