Halo, because I suck. I don't mean I'm not the best player. Oh no, it's like you gave a drunken monkey who recently had a full lobotomy the controls and let him go to town. I am smart enough to realize this and politely decline to play.

Any sports game. I just don't see the point in doing something virtually, that can be done in real life.

Also, racing games (except the ones that have weapons and stuff) for the same basic premise. But, also, they're just boring. "He's makin' another left turn!" (Yes, I do view NASCAR as a waste of the world's gas)

FAAAAAARRRR FUCKING CRYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!

Unlikable characters, story shitty beyond belief, nearly broken gunplay mechanics, the lamest sound effects ever and the most fucking UNFAIR AI ever created.

Nice graphics though.

Does Linux Multimedia Studio count?

Because every time I've perfected a riff, THE FUCKING THING CRASHES AGAIN.

Any game that suggests something or tries to give me tips after i fail a mission, FUCK!!! its annoying
Basically, the tip they are giving is "Don't Die" or "Don't let this person/thing die". And the best I came up with in my mind is "No Sh*t".

Ninja Gaiden: Sigma....The first boss feels like the last, mainly because he is too hard to beat. After you beat him you are faced with other Ninjas who can teleport, AND send out devastating projectiles. After all this you just want to say........

I think the most frustrating games I've ever played are IWBTG, Prototype and Dead Rising.

Yu Yu Hakusho: The Dark Tournament
It even says it's unfair on the back of the box. Unfortunately I did not think it was serious.

When I was younger (say, 8), Jak III. I love the game, but some of the missions piss the shit out of me. Also, when you fail a mission you get that loud "BUUUUUUUMMMM" noise which makes me want to snap the disc.

Bayonetta and MW2 do it pretty well as far as recent games go. I remember Jak and Daxter used to rile me up pretty good too.

Any of those shitty games where you play with toy guitars or whatever. I hate them, I won't let anyone play them here because they're annoying. I don't see how they became popular when you could just learn an actual instrument and make your own songs up.

Yet somehow people get on TV because they're good at hitting buttons at the right moment on a fake guitar yet people who are actually really good at the instrument are ignored. Dance Dance is more valid than it (Not that I like that game either) you at least get a work out.

Freaking Dead Rising makes me want to hurt things!
The bosses are uber-cheap, the save system is a mess, there's too many escort missions, and the entire game is basically one big long timed mission!
RAAWWR!
And there's no free roam mode where you can just go into the mall with no time limit and no story and no missions and no slowly depleting health bar, and just kick back and find inventive ways to kill zombies.

Go ahead and make that slam dunk/alley-oop in real life. ;]

I play football (soccer) and basketball, but I still love to play FIFA/PES and NBA because I can be an all-star and do things I will never ever learn IRL.

OT: God of War III, or rather, the last part of it. Great franchise gets utterly ruined by probably the most crappy and disappointing ending possible.

I admit shooters of any kind can be a pain, but for the most part they're supposed to be difficult and if you're going to stick your head out, you should expect to get it shot off. They don't enrage me all that much, since I expect them to be a challenge.

Fighting games on the other hand are a different story. Sometimes it seems like your CPU opponent strength is completely random. One minute even the most beginner garbage tactics like jumpkick-sweep-repeat combos will succeed, then next minute a switch goes off and the computer decides "no more." Your moves are countered before they even happen and suddenly every move they do takes immediate priority over yours, regardless of strength/speed/sequence whatever. There are fair fights, and then there's straight up bullcrap (a.k.a. SFIV's Seth).

I don't always rage at games, but when I do, I prefer bullshitty boss characters.

EDIT: Puzzle Quest is another great example of my complaint. One second someone is a pushover, the next they've done 300 points of damage in a single turn. Inconsistent difficulty FTL.
