What have you been called weird for?

I've been called weird for my music taste (I tend to switch between electronic dance music and metal). And since I hardly ever listen to the radio or Sirius Hits-1 I don't know half of the names of the people who are popular in music right now. I can't say I regret it, though. It all seems to be the same bland pop-with-rap-and-hip-hop-elements anyway, and in 6 months most of those names will be forgotten.

Also, I'm more touchy-feely than most people are. I'll randomly poke people sometimes, or sneak up on them and hug them or lean on them or something.

About half a year ago, I was considered a bit weird when we were being mustered out of the Defence Forces. Most fellas are absolutely thrilled to finally be released, but I was kinda sad. It was a really great experience for me, but others found it less enjoyable. I wasn't alienated or anything, but I got some weird looks whenever I voiced this opinion.

I'm sometimes considered a little weird at work, when instead of happily greeting my fellow workers I prefer to just grunt a low quiet greeting while focusing on my work. The girls find it almost cute.

Also, I hardly ever wear socks, even during the harsh winters, which causes people to look at me a bit funny.
