Mods, 80-ish voice actors, and they'll be hundreds of faces. I don't think oblivion repeated faces, why should Skyrim? Not to say Oblivion NPC's didn't look terrifyingly bad...w9496 said:It's a Bethesda game, so it might have a ton of bugs that cripple the game. I'm also expecting 4 or 5 different voice actors, along with 25 different faces to go along with them.
I thought New Vegas was horrible actually. Even with mods.Sutter Cane said:Denariax said:I'm kind of expecting it to suck. After Oblivion to F3 to New Vegas, it seems to be in a constant down. I'll probably rent it.
New Vegas was made by Obsidian not Bethesda. Also New Vegas was good.

Mods have been a pretty essential component of the TES series (and FO3) since Morrowind in 2001. If it sucks, make sure you get it on PC so thousands of dedicated modders can un-suck it.
I will shed so many tears, the handkerchief industry will skyrocket.helldragonX said:I'll cry, just cry.
Again i must point out that FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS WAS NOT DEVELOPED BY BETHESDA, IT WAS DEVELOPED BY OBSIDIAN. therefore any praise or fault for the game should go to them and not Bethesda. Why did I get so angry about this fact in this particular instance? Wel that's because it had been mentioned on this very page.ArbiterX13 said:For the record, by this point Bethesda would have to completely revamp the game in order for it to suck. If the various multi-hour demos remain true to the actual game, it should be fine (if they don't, then Bethesda had a pretty busy month).
For everyone talking about the numerous bugs of Bethesda games, I've played and beaten Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas and have only come across one actual game-breaking glitch (in which a Deathclaw teleported several feet forward after I loaded a game, thus rendering it impossible to sneak past). Maybe that's because I don't actually go looking for them.
Actually Bethesda says they want to put mods on the console.Clive Howlitzer said:Impossible. The mod community will fix any problems that it has. If you own it for console, well, that sucks for you.
well...retyopy said:You could do that? Just... turn it back in? No tears, no slit wrists, NOTHING?mrm5561 said:turn it back in for saints row 3 or assassions creed.
Uhh, no. A developer develops the game, while the publisher publishes the game. Argue all you want, but this is simply the truth.Cheshire the Cat said:Of course I don't. Mass Effect came out before EA bought Bioware. So I say that EA developed Mass Effect 2.HassEsser said:The last game they made was Fallout 3, but they published a ton of shitty games. Big difference, you don't say EA developed Mass Effect, do you?arragonder said:I'd not be surprised, have you played their other recent games? I can't figure out what went wrong, Morrowind was so good.
Fact is, when the guy who sign your paychecks tells you and your staff to make a game a certain way then you do it. They tell you have it ready by X then you have it ready by X. They may not be the ones actually doing the work on it but they get to dictate whatever they please about the game.
