It's very likely to be an improvement on Oblivion, at least. If you enjoyed Oblivion, you're bound to enjoy Skyrim.

If not, well......there's always chess.

If Skyrim turns out to be a bad game; angels will cry, I will cry, Chuck Norris will cry, and Lord British will have to develop something to fill the void in all of our hearts. I pray this never comes to pass.

Bless you Lord British, and God's speed Bethesda.

If it fails, I will be sad for a while, UP until Saints Row: the Third comes out, then I shall laugh for a long time.

Also I hope it does not fail, it better not fail, if it does then Fallout 4 better make up for it!

The jaws of Oblivion will open, a blight will spread across the ashlands, and [insert Daggerfall reference here].

I should really go check that game out, heard it's pretty good (Daggerfall, I mean)

I will be very annoyed and possibly weep.

And then I will return it and get a better game, and try to forget I ever made the purchase.

What if another oblivion game is bad? The world will move on without caring after a couple months.

Honestly, I love rpg's but i have never been a fan of this series. Maybe its the silly dialogue heads, the clearly scaled enemies that rip me out of any sense of realism or the absurd travel mechanics that makes the game either too ear ot too hard depending on where you're headed.

There is no way it will suck, for me anyway. The only way I will have a problem is if my PC doesn't run it well. I could always buy it for 360 but I need mods!

I'd not be surprised, have you played their other recent games? I can't figure out what went wrong, Morrowind was so good.
The last game they made was Fallout 3, but they published a ton of shitty games. Big difference, you don't say EA developed Mass Effect, do you?
no but I do say they made oblivion and fallout 3, which were shitty games.
Hmm, I can not argue with that impeccable logic; you're absolutely right, well played xP

I'm kind of expecting it to suck. After Oblivion to F3 to New Vegas, it seems to be in a constant down. I'll probably rent it.

SACRILEGE!!! Overall, I don't see it being a disaster in a box as a possibility. Though I don't know what I would honestly do if it was indeed crap. I guess never play it again but enjoy all the Collector's Edition crap I have anyways?

If it is awful, one of my friends may commit seppuku and without a hint of irony I shall shout "This is the part where you fall down and BLEED to death!"

My answer is...

TONIGHT, WE MOD IN HELL! [sub]Or whenever the mod tools for the game are released after launch.[/sub]

Off-topic: Okay, PS3, Xbox 360 or PC. Which should I get it for?

New Vegas was made by Obsidian not Bethesda. Also New Vegas was good.

Sounds like you only played Oblivion. Don't judge the whole series on that game; Oblivion is Morrowind's blonde younger sister: prettier, more popular, but boring and dumbed down.
