I've always been partial to the ending of legend of dragoon

Toss up between the intro cutscene for Freespace 2 or the intro from Descent 2 - the latter was the first 3d-rendered and voice-acted cutscene I'd ever seen in a game so it has some powerful nostalgia going for it, the former is simply awesome and has some great narration.

Dawn of War's intro is also rather epic.

I would also agree with the guy who said the funeral scene in Saints Row 2.

I would also agree witht he poster who said Halo Wars... the game was shit, but put all those cutscenes together and you got something pretty to look at.

I would add the Raiden Gecko/Vamp fight from MGS4.

One up there is the opening cutscene for Final Fantasy XII. Say what you will about the game, but that cinematic was fantastic.

As a tie, the scene in Halo Wars where they actually give us a battle: 3 Spartans vs. like 10 Elites. That was the day I overdosed on awesome.

The opening scene for Lost Odyssey was amazing, felt like a CG movie.

My favorite cutscenes would have to be from No More Heroes and House of the Dead: Overkill though. Absolutely hilarious stuff.

well any of the proper god of war 1/2 custscenes as i recently replayed it and i dont know how but the ps3 upscaled the qualiy to an amazing this gen level of quality. simply for that reason and its awsome (although the in game graphics were rubbish lol)
