I'm a big fan of the metal gear solid series. Forced to pick one, I'd say the third is a contender for best singleplayer game.
Haha. You kind of sounded like a hipster though.Easton Dark said:DAMN ITZyst said:I am ninjaing a thousand people with this, but Morrowind and Oblivion. And soon enough Skyrim!
I was going to be all cool and original and say Oblivion because I've put a hundred or two (or 3) hours into it and that summoning was the most fantastic skill I've ever seen in a game!
Agh! I'm a conformist now!
Mine too.Deadpool062 said:I'm pretty sure mine would be Fallout 3, as I have about 85 hours on my play-through and still have not been to every location, gotten every unique weapon, every bobble-head so technically (from a rabid completionist's standpoint) I have not truly beaten it.
Yes, New Vegas started off quite buggy, but most of it was fixed pretty fast.Deadpool062 said:I don't know, I've always been a huge Fallout fan, but to me New Vegas was a disgrace. Nearly everything it had in it's favor could be gotten and improved on with mods for the PC version of Fallout 3, also with less glitches.
Yes, the game was too bugged at the start.Drizzitdude said:Maybe if the game didn't have a million and one bugs that shouldn't exist. I hate how bethesda (and whoever the hell they were working with for NV) gets away with releasing a clearly unfinished product and then they don't bother putting the effort to fix any problem with the game. In FactI was playing New Vegas the other day and Ed-E went into a wall in vault 22. So I said screw it and left him there because I only wanted his perk and didnt have a recent save where I knew whwere he was. Then after purchasing the 'Honest Hearts' DLC I find out that I cannot do it because it still says I have Ed-E as a companion and what is the only way to fix this problem you might ask? By purchasing the 'Dead Money' DLC which provides a ONE TIME companion reset. Really?
I would recommend it. It's a pretty solid shooter and made bullet time in games famous. Good story too. Although it can be kind of a ***** to play a lot of the time, it is cheap enough that everyone should have it. As for me, either FF VII or VIII, or Steambot Chronicles.Deadpool062 said:I have never actually played thatkman123 said:Max Payne. Quite awesome.
No I am playing on the xbox version. I shouldn't have to go buy a specific version of a product meant for multiple platforms simply to avoid gamebreaking issues the developer is either to lazy or to greedy to fix.4RM3D said:Yes, the game was too bugged at the start.Drizzitdude said:Maybe if the game didn't have a million and one bugs that shouldn't exist. Anyhow, are you playing the PC version of Fallout? If so you can use the command line to add or remove companions. I can't recall the exact link, but I read it somewhere on the Fallout wiki.
EDIT: the Dead Money DLC is pretty cool. Definitely worth it.
you have never played Max Payne wow please go check it out great game but very slow to get intoDeadpool062 said:I have never actually played thatkman123 said:Max Payne. Quite awesome.
This.GlenTheFox said:I'd have to say that my top single-player game would have to be Chrono Trigger; it's very well written, does time travel extremely well, and it's interesting enough to make me want to keep going back to play it over and over again.
