What is the best singleplayer game of all time.

I remember getting it as I was desperate for any Dreamcast game at that point and what I got was my favourite game ever.

I know I have probably already been ninja'd (to lazy to read through all the comments) but KotOR takes the cake for me. It has great combat, and one of the best story's in videogame history.

I was going to pick a more recent game but they are all so good I can't choose between them. And so I'm going old school and picking The Legend of Zelda the ocarina of time, why because its a mad classic and got me hooked on video games.

Bioshock, Chrono Trigger, Okami, Persona 3, Yoshi's Island, Final Fantasy, Eternal Sonata, Grandia II, Kirby's Dreamland 2 & 3, Ranger X, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Prey, Vanquish, Bayonetta, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, Valkyria Chronicles, Chrono Cross, Yars Revenge, SeaQuest, Cave Story, Super Metroid, Metroid Fusion etc.

There's more but if I don't stop myself now, I'll go on forever. I love a lot of single player games, and all the ones I listed deserve top marks imo

It has a fantastic story, lightsabers, and a lot of replayability (Different builds, outcomes, and teams).
I've played through it 60 times already, so its by far my favorite game.

The port/upgrade version on Gamecube is pretty good too. There's a few little extras, plus all of the Dreamcast DLC stuff.

My all-time favorite single player is Kingdom Hearts 2. I loved the story, the graphics, the action... everything. I think I've played through it something like 5 or 6 times, which would probably equal a total playtime of 150+ hours. But that doesn't mean I think it's the best ever, just my favorite.
I think the best singleplayer game I've ever played was Persona 4. A great story combined with unique and relatable characters, and fun combat made this truly stand out.
