I havent finished LA noire yet, but the ending to half the cases is annoying. A lot of time I have multiple people I think may have done it and then he goes and charges somebody when Im just trying to get info and it ends the case. wtf. Give me some warning this is the last interigation befroe you 3 star me and ***** I didnt talk to some other guy.

Halo Reach. The campaign is great, and it ends with a wimper, when it could have ended with a bang. Really, really disappointing. It even surpassed Halo 2 in horrible endings. Bungie has a nack for horrible endings. It seems their writers are fans of French movies.

Any "open" ending. I don't mean so much cliffhangers, although those are a pain in the ass. I mean ending a story but leaving established plot threads open. You were telling me the story, I don't want it left up to my imagination, I want it left up to yours. That is the main reason I don't enjoy most horror novels, and many horror movies.
The three "Beast House" books by Richard Laymon are great examples of this. Those are massively fucked up books, bestiality, lots of death, rape (a child too) etc. So it works rather well as a work of horror. Then of course there's the whole "surprise" attack at the end, with no resolution. The worst part is, it only happens at the end of the trilogy. The first two books actually end properly, all the important stuff all wrapped up. I just pretend the third one ended about three pages earlier, cause then everything's all nice and resolved.

Good films, but at the end of the first one you're looking forward to revenge on the two villains for the effective murder of Jean, and although they're both dead by the end of the second part, you feel guilty for it because it makes them forgivable.

A premature one.
The end was a mess. By that I mean that it was fairly obvious that Cole was going to die; if RDR wasn't enough then the massive wave approaching him at break neck speed while he made feeble attempts to jump at safety was; and the tension it attempted to make was an attempt in vain. On top of that, they didn't give a fuck about what was going on with the houses anymore and were only bothered with the safety of Elsa, a less than interesting character. The villain, if he could be called that, was shot dead in cold blood with no attempt to even bring him to justice as they were obliged to do. The insurance scandal, if it was still an insurance scandal, was never solved and nobody was brought to justice. Roy Earls, the character that betrayed you to the people involved in the insurance scandal was never punished or it and even gave your fucking eulogy.

I have to agree with AC endings too, love the games but the endings keep getting worse and worse.
all the bad guys are winning and all the 3 main protaganists are either presumed dead, taken into custody or in a coma.

Killing off John Marston was also pretty damn bad. Story wise it was awesome, but I don't want to spend my free roaming/trophy grinding sessions as his whiny brat son. I don't care if he grew up and got a mustasche. He still has the same whiny voice! I loved John Marston! ;_;
for TV, the Mid Season Cliffhanger, why they even feel the need to put a long ass break into the middle of a TV season is beyond me, and it really frustrates to no end
