The only valid reason I can think of for buying a next gen console is getting a PS4 just to boost its sales as a "f*ck you" to Microsoft and the Xbone. That and Octodad: Deadliest Catch. I've dusted off my gaming PC and have started upgrading it. The good old days of having a machine dedicated to playing awesome games you did not have anywhere else is gone. I'm buying a Wii:U for my daughter and joining the glorious PC-gaming master race.
