what is wrong with itunes?

It's retarded at syncing with iProducts. Other than that, it does everything I need it to, and also finds the album artwork for my songs and updates my apps automatically.

I used to be quite pro-iTunes. Then iTunes ten installed itself.

My views have...changed somewhat since that day.

I wish iTunes would sell more foreign music, that's the only problem I have it with.

It's CRAZY slow, all updates to other software that isn't installed is opt-out, not opt-in. There's a lot of sneaky shit going on in there. It uses way more processing power than it should, That's why I use Creative Media Source. It's simple, it just plays music, which is all I need it to do. Itunes on the other hand, is bogged down with loads of unnecessary crap.

just an update for everyone who cares. the reason i made the thread was that i noticed that my computer went from fast to dirt slow as soon as i downloaded itunes. i erased it and anything on my computer with apple's name to it and my computer is back to normal. thanks for y'alls input

Personally, I've only had the occasional issue from iTunes.

One time it "lost" my library so I had to go through the process of re-ripping all my CD's into it, when half way through my collection, it miraculously found it all again, leaving me with about 300 or so songs doubled >.<
