HEALTH, actually not that obscure. Just not mainstream or very well recognised at least not in the UK. Did the Crimewave track with Crystal Castles. (I love Crystal Castles!)
saw them live along with crystal castles last week :). not too shabby :D
Awesome, I saw them just over a week ago as well. Roundhouse Camden, you? I was so bruised after that gig! Was unbelieveable, met Alice afterwards as well.
at the rock city in nottingham :). crowd surfed like 4 times and alice landed right on top of me when she fell into the audience :D. was pretty sicck :)

Le Sexoflex. No one that I know of has heard of them. Although they have never really released an album. But they have their singles online for free on their website.

+ Elbow (dont know anyone outside of the uk who knows of them)
I sold elbows first ep for £100 (probably more than it was worth so that was pleasing. Be interesting to see what everyones definition of "little known" is.

They're small, but they're bloody awesome. And they're Swedish!

Also, a Swedish band called This Is Not A Game Of Who The Fuck Are You:

This is their song Oregon, accompanied by an epic hand drawn music video, as all of their songs are.

Yeah, no such luck.

Also, you wouldn't happen to have any rope with you, would you? I'm fresh out.

Tokyo Police Club.

And now I, jackanderson, have won this thread thanks to that submission.

Don't believe me? Listen to the A Lesson In Crime EP and then bow down to your new superiors.

(Little bit of topical Game comparison for ya there)

There are bands that are really famous but really should be alot more popular such as The Devin Townsend Project and Paradise Lost.

OT: alot of proggressive metal bands such as Pagans Mind and Shadow Gallery

Umphrey's McGee who I just saw in concert last week. There a jam band similar to Phish.

New Years Day is pretty cool, but they get a lot of comparisons to Paramore.

The Hold Steady rock.

Hockey Night, even though they broke up were good.

My favorite little known bands are Lagwagon and Jawbreaker. My favorite song is a Lagwagon cover of Jawbreaker's "Want". It's the best of both worlds for me.

I'd say either my cousin's band, Punish Them, or The Caesars (they may be bigger elsewhere, but practically nobody around here knows them).
