I hardly ever eat anyway, to be honest.

cream crackers... I rarely eat when gaming...come to think of it I rarely eat....

Just don't become like those people that die because they can't peel themselves away from their video games.

Even though people have done it, I don't see how they do it. There is no way I could reach the die from not eating stage. There have been a few rare occasions that I haven't eaten for almost a whole day. On those occasions, I get a mind splitting headache, I get a rather slight out of body buzz feeling with some cold chills, and eventually my stomach feels like it is trying to burst out of my body.

actually a gaming laptop is "a thing" because people dont builder their own laptops so thease are are specifically designed for gaming (not that you cant game on a regualr decent one, as i have for some time) oh and "gaming" gear generally LOOKS really cool as well, like my WOW gaming mousepad

anyway people like to identify with a group and take a certain amount of pride and passion with their hobby,

No 'serious gamer' would ever actually game on a laptop, ever. Desktop or bust. Sure, maybe off and on with a laptop, but never as a main system.

Also the whole looking cool is form over function, you're essentially paying for a fancy paintjob that won't make the actual thing work any better. Do I sense a hint of buyer's remorse?

Anyway, I'm much more vested in videogames than you are and even then I don't fucking think I'm part of some elite clique of people just because I spend a whole bunch of money on overpriced crap.

I can tell, because you play WoW, that you think this is where you belong, that videogames are your only recourse for attention. You don't actually like games, you're the type of guy who buys a really fancy looking car that can barely go over 80 mph, just to show off.

1. I did for a while ,(financial reasons) I got Bioshock and was like WHOA what ever the hell that I was I want more!!! (and so my serious gaming began) I played a ton of games from around 2008+ era, didnt work too badly at all, in fact given the choice Id for a laptop over desk top any day, due to portability, I just preorded Deus ex for PC the other day

I only got a console a week or ago, before then I considered myself a serious gamer, and even then I wasnt sure I "needed" one

2. buyers remorse? nope I dont have a pro mouse or anything (cant bring myself to spend that much money on a mouse)

3. youre much more invested in game than me? how do you know that? you seem to hate the very Idea of being invested in games

4. I dont play WOW and never intend to, I dislike MMO's, reason was I needed a decent mousepad and it looked cool (had a big firey dragon on it) I figured if I'm gonna get a mousepad why not one that looks pretty?, and I can tell the difference (but before that I was on a cheap mouse and no mousepand at all)

same reason I love figurines and posters, (I have an infamous cole figurine) oh and a Halo spartan bobblehead even though I dont play Halo

Probably, but people who add 'gaming' to everything they do make my top shitlist along with people from Reddit and rabid fans of particular consoles.

It's not that big of a deal, really. In this context anyway. Gaming snack is just meaning, a snack you tend to lean towards when playing video games...you're looking a bit too far into this. For example, I have Ravioli as a snack a lot, but I'm for certain not going to be eating it while playing a game, that's just ridiculous.

OT: Anyway, mine...would probably be Flaming Hot Cheetos or...Cheez-Its. Something tasty and just damn good to nom on while I'm shooting/slashing things up.

Oh. Sorry, didn't think it would be interpreted that way, should've made myself clearer. I don't eat often since I have next to no appetite (never ate much/bad mood in any case). Also, kinda busy, which is also why I hardly ever play anything these days. My job, studies and work around the house leaves little time for eating, doubly so since my parents have a rule that, essentially, means I don't get to eat until everything's done unless they're feeling generous.

Which reminds me, I haven't actually eaten since the bowl of cereal I had the night before last. Should probably go fix that. Honestly though, I'm still not hungry, so it's clearly not a big deal.

Agreed, by the way. And just about any fruit tends to be better frozen, too. Bananas, apples, berries, pineapples and lemons are all pretty great.
