Hmm..
Like everyone else here I guess I'd be looking for someone who is just like me

-Someone who is trustworthy and honest (brutally honest even :p), not a depressed, angry, possessive or emotional sort, I prefer people who are optimistic and tries to see the good in every situation.
-The sort of person who keeps just a few close friends rather than many acquaintances, someone who doesn't really like 'partying' and getting drunk or smoking (drinking a bit here and there is ok but not someone who I have to clean up vomit after etc- who would want to party when you can sit at home and play old-school games on a Friday night instead? Friends like that are virtually impossible to find at this age!!!)
-Someone who is still a child on the inside and isn't afraid to do things that are silly and ridiculous, despite the inevitable disapproving eyes of 'too-mature' onlookers
-Someone who loves animals as much as me and is adventurous and really enjoys camping and the outdoors, but is still intelligent and nerdy
-Looks aren't too important but I prefer lean guys over muscular or fat guys

I guess most of all someone who will fill more of the role of best friend / partner in crime (not real crime of course) rather than Shakespearean lover haha

This is certainly my type.

But also, I look for someone who is quite down to earth, comfortable company, and a bit of a joker.

Trophy Wife. Blond + Double D's is the requirement so I can look successful. Brains not needed.

In all seriousness I like the average girl nextdoor type. Not uber hot, since even I tend to have trouble talking to supermodels. Not ugly either though. A confortable medium.

Someone who's confortable in their own skin.
Doesn't smoke or abuse substances (I got issues with getting to kissing range with a smoker).
Can give and receive gestures of affection. (If I like someone, I show it. Not every caress means sexy-time.)
Has his own mind and accepts that I have mine too.
Preferably isn't too tall, so I don't need a stepladder to kiss them.

I realize this list has more "don'ts" than "dos" but I guess I'm narrowing down my type by elimination.

I have a few requirements that I think are pretty vital to a long-lasting relationship, as that's the only relationship I'm looking for:

- Must be a lass around my age, bit younger or a bit older is alright but nothing too extreme.

- Must be nerdy. I can't see myself share my life with someone who doesn't understand or care about the many nerdy things I really care about. Gaming, comics, science, movies, and the nerdy books (like Terry Pratchett, The Dresden Files, Dune, etc) I read are all a very important part of not only my life but me as a person as well.

- Not a big party girl, or at least not in the traditional sense of the word. I hate the idea of getting pissed and all that.

- Must have a crazy sense of humour and just be a little mad in general, yes that includes immature and dirty humour. Means she wouldn't take life so serious, just like I do.

- Must take care of herself. I don't mind a few extra pounds, but if you let yourself get really fat and/or filthy I wouldn't want to hook up with you. Just take care of your own body and looks, I don't ask for an athlete, just be healthy. That includes no smoking.

- Please be comfortable with the fact that I'm not immediately ready for sex. I'm the kind of guy who just likes to cuddle and hold your hand as well. Sex can wait.

The rest can figure itself out I guess. Especially looks-wise I don't really require anything past that taking care of oneself, and that's more a mentality thing anyway. If those requirements are met I think that things will work out by themselves. I think then she'd be able to look past my current problems and see who I really am, as we'd share a couple of important traits, and love me because of it.

In any case, I think I've found my ideal girl already anyway. Before I met her I never even dáred to imagine that someone like her existed. And here we are now...in an impossible situation. A dream that came true and got crushed all at the same time. Think I have to give her up and move on.

The Sherlock Holmes way eh. It's the easiest, that's for sure.

hmm, As of late there is this girl, So I'd go with everything she is.

Intelligent, average/good looking(I think she looks great!), fun to talk to and doesn't judge me for being a gamer or even better, plays games herself!

Oh yes, she's totally that. Glad we are already dating! :)

Curly blonde with green/grey/blue eyes and some cute spreckles (but not too many, mind you).

That, or a sexy redhead.

Oh, and she shouldn't be a complete idiot.

I'm fairly specific tbh. I don't like really skinny girls, but I also don't like fat girls, they have to be curvy. I can't deal with stupidity so they have to be smart. They have to like at least some form of rock/metal and not chart music and they have to either have or at least accept tattoos (because I have many)
Luckily my gf fits all of these categories

An ideal girl for me is some one around my age, doesn't have to look like a model, but can't be unattractive. For some reason, she needs to be around my height. I don't know why. She needs to be intelligent, not greatly, but she needs to have some brains in her head. I'd like for her to have some things in common with me.

The most important thing is that she accepts me for who I am, even if she doesn't understand, completely or at all, why I am the way I am or why I do what I do, and she doesn't mind asking if she wants to know. She won't try to change me into what she thinks is ideal, or what she wants.
She'll love what she gets, dammit!

I don´t really have a type and i don´t wanna say intelligent but a not stupid would be nice and of course having the same interest would be nice (also it would be nice if she´sn´t ugly, understatement)

I don't have a "type".
The one person I actually would ever want to have any sort of romantic dealiebob with came as a total surprise. And I am never GOING to have any sort of romantic thingamajig with them because neither of us like romance.

Plus, there's that whole "I am kind of a horrible person and everyone who ever gets close to me is likely to be dragged down in a never-ending spiral of self-destruction" thing I have got going on, so it would be pretty irresponsible for me to pursue that sort of stuff with anyone.
