I have a few requirements that I think are pretty vital to a long-lasting relationship, as that's the only relationship I'm looking for:
- Must be a lass around my age, bit younger or a bit older is alright but nothing too extreme.
- Must be nerdy. I can't see myself share my life with someone who doesn't understand or care about the many nerdy things I really care about. Gaming, comics, science, movies, and the nerdy books (like Terry Pratchett, The Dresden Files, Dune, etc) I read are all a very important part of not only my life but me as a person as well.
- Not a big party girl, or at least not in the traditional sense of the word. I hate the idea of getting pissed and all that.
- Must have a crazy sense of humour and just be a little mad in general, yes that includes immature and dirty humour. Means she wouldn't take life so serious, just like I do.
- Must take care of herself. I don't mind a few extra pounds, but if you let yourself get really fat and/or filthy I wouldn't want to hook up with you. Just take care of your own body and looks, I don't ask for an athlete, just be healthy. That includes no smoking.
- Please be comfortable with the fact that I'm not immediately ready for sex. I'm the kind of guy who just likes to cuddle and hold your hand as well. Sex can wait.
The rest can figure itself out I guess. Especially looks-wise I don't really require anything past that taking care of oneself, and that's more a mentality thing anyway. If those requirements are met I think that things will work out by themselves. I think then she'd be able to look past my current problems and see who I really am, as we'd share a couple of important traits, and love me because of it.
In any case, I think I've found my ideal girl already anyway. Before I met her I never even dáred to imagine that someone like her existed. And here we are now...in an impossible situation. A dream that came true and got crushed all at the same time. Think I have to give her up and move on.

I realize this list has more "don'ts" than "dos" but I guess I'm narrowing down my type by elimination.
The Sherlock Holmes way eh. It's the easiest, that's for sure.
