... sufficient amounts of testosterone? Wait, that could still be a... shit, I forgot the word. Shemale was it?
Then it's got to be the reproductive organs.
Oh, you mean behavior-wise?
Umm... that should be fairly obvious I think. If not, please remove yourself from the gene pool, thankyouverymuch.

I only have a few of the requirements down of being a man.
And the ones I have passed, are:

- A set of testicles and penis.
- ...

That's it. God that's pathetic >.>
Hey, don't disregard the ellipsis. All great men require an ellipsis! I think...

And you can add 'the belief that being a man requires you to have something more than male genitalia' to your list. Except then you can't, because it will no longer be the only thing on your list.

You don't even need a set of testicles. Hitler only had one , and though he may have been (read 'was') a thoroughly nasty guy declaring war on pretty much everyone nearby is fairly manly. In a "Me man! Me fight! Graaargh!" sort of way.

Being manly is overrated.
Well, I never mentioned what I did have on my list, just what I had accomplished during my 17 years on this Earth.

And, my list...
Living without fear,
being a leader,
raising a family,
being successful and
to follow my dreams...

With a family I can trust to gain no support from (though they try), which is my all, these things are near to impossible. Not to mention I don't live on the same conditions as others.

stupid syndrome... Or stupid me, more precisely.

A Real Man doesn't care what random criteria somebody assigns to have to qualify.

Actually, does anybody even use that term unironically anymore? Or ever? At this point the common usage is less "person of honesty and integrity you can respect for his hard work and dedication to his family" and more "trying so hard to be macho he comes off as an idiot bucking for a darwin award."

If you think the answer is any of the things outlined in those articles, you're a goddamned moron. Just saying.

Flesh, blood and bones, with the lovely audition of PENIS.
Y'know, that thing that makes us the male gender.

All stereotypes are bullshit there is no perfect 'real man' because all women want different things from a man, do whatever you want and you'll still be a man I think the trick is to be happy with yourself;

You like playing video games instead of sport - you just keep on doing that someones gotta step up and save the universe from their couch

You like sports but suddenly find yourself in the shower with a ton of other guys - it's only weird if you look down

You had a manacure today - don't be embarrased you look good

Bum hair.

I've met some men who don't have a penis. I've met some women who do.

It is bum hair which defines us.

Having a goezouter instead of a woman's goeziner (say them outloud if you don't get it).

As for personality-wise, there are a few kinds.
The manly man that reeks of manliness and routinely punches out bears and other creatures that would eat most (see mountain men, Chuck Norris, Crocodile Dundee, etc.).

The family man loves his family and provides for it. He may not be a manly man, but he is more of a man than the jerk that give his wife a bastard son before they met (see Steve Irwin and most average men).

The philosphical man is also called the thinking man. Guys the know everything about their subject and are willing to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of thinking men (Bruce Lee and all those old chinese guys with long thin beards).

More types of "Man" exist, but these are just a few examples.

For my answer i have to quote don Corleone "A man who doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man." so be a man and either get a family or spend time with them.
