Teknoman: final episode "Conrad, dear brother. It's over" as Blade brings the horrible saga of having to kill his family, one by one to protect the Earth, to an end.

DragonBall Z: "I'm going to crush you, and throw you into the wind" as Vegeta finally gets what it means to love his family and enact possibly one of the greatest heroic sacrifices in the series.

Gladiator: The entire last ten minutes or so: freeing the slaves, declaring Rome a republic (despite it not being historically correct), seeing his family in Elysium. Most of the dialogue is wonderful but none more so than "I will see you again my friend, but not yet" and then kicks into this:

I cry when needed/when I want, and that is when something sad does happen. When in "The Pursuit of Happyness", I saw the trauma that he went through in his life, and the happiness that he met in the end, I shed tears of sadness and joy. Big Fish (As OP has posted) also was a beautiful movie, because you built such a connection with the main character that you were sad to see him die.

There are 3 type of men when it comes to crying. 2 that don't cry and 1 that does. 1 that doesn't cry does so because he is insecure, the one that cries is one that is secure and does not care what others think. And the 3rd man is one who doesn't cry and tells other men that it is a weakness. This 3rd man is one who is not a man, but merely a child who has not or never will grow up, this is a statement that I believe in. If you don't like this statement, than sod off.

Advice for the men who are afraid though? VV

Those are pretty much the main ones. Tales of Symphonia is the one work of fiction that makes me tear up every time. It's one of the reasons that it's my favorite game.

Toy Story 3 brought me close but I didn't quite cry. The Road was another that brought me close to tears.

Things that do make me very sad include pets dying, children's toys breaking, and lost stuffed animals and the ilk. I just feel so bad when something that is special to someone breaks or is lost and you can see just how sad they are.

OT: First 10 minutes of Up and that scene from Toy Story 3 get me every time. Also, I can't remember which book it was, but there's a part in the Wheel of Time where Perrin is defending a town from Trollocs and expects to be killed in the fighting, so he leaves a letter to Faile which I find rather upsetting to read.

Then there are some moments in movies that kinda upset me a little, but not enough to cry about it. like in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi after the battle the Ewoks have with the Storm Troopers in the Forest, and one of the Ewoks is trying to get the attention of another Ewok that is laying on the ground, only to discover that he/she is dead, and he grieves over him. DON'T JUDGE ME!!

The end of Doctor Who episode "Forest of the Dead".

Virgil's scene before the wall of fire in Canto 27 of The Purgatorio when Dante is too scared to enter the flames. He reminds Dante of the horrors in Hell that Virgil protected him from and asks, "Could I do any less this close to God?" It was a short and beautiful summary of all the character had done and a sharp reminder we were about to lose him as he could never ascend to Heaven. (Also where the good part of the Divine Comedy ends, but I digress.)
