If there has already been loads of people posting and I can't be bothered to read through the whole lot and catch up, I won't post either because someone will have already said what I want to say,

Lots of things:
-Repeat threads -- If I've already stated my opinion, why should I need to state it again?
-Flame/ troll threads -- Just, no.
-Lack of discussion threads -- Why bother trying to form discussion in threads where the OP can't be bothered to make any effort towards discussion?
-Threads I'm not interested in (this actually covers a lot of threads nowadays) -- Just why should I?
-List threads -- Not much discussion used in these.
-Threads without much or any detail in the OP- Should be obvious why I ignore these.
-Topics I know nothing or little about as well (why I don't appear much in Gaming Discussion) -- Once again, just why?

There are probably others, but I have can't think of any more currently. Anything that basically isn't what I said people should do in this post [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.147426#3391551], I don't like and will probably ignore unless I deem it report worthy.

EDIT: In case anyone was wondering, back in my days of large posting I didn't have all those standards and would just post anywhere I wanted to. My standards have since increased.

4 letters, A,H,L,O. Just replace the 2nd with the 1st and you have my reason.

Ok, time for a mini-rant (fuck off, I am bored)! Why the fuck do people need to create a BILLION topics about: "why do you think Halo sucks?","Why do you think Halo is underrated?","Is Halo a good game?","Halo","Halo,"HALOOOOO!"? Seriously people, it is a fucking game! A mediocre one as well. Why do you act like it is a masterpiece worthy of discussion? Why doesn't anyone start a thread about an actually good game? Like Shadow of the Colossus? That would be a good topic, "Why is SotC so underrated?". The answer to that topic would be, in many ways, HALO! (*I would explain that statement, but it would make the post ultra long, just go read Extra Punctuation or another article made by a real gamer) To me this game is a pile of shit and it can go to hell, not necessarily because it's bad, but because it's IN MY FUCKING FACE all the time. By the way, just to make myself clear, I don't have anything against people who like Halo, just the game. And sweary kids. And the XBLive! community.

IT appears this wasn't as "mini" as I intended...
The irony of this post made me chuckle.

I stay away from the myriad of religion topics; religious people who can't keep their beliefs to themselves annoy me. So, too, do those loud mouth non-religious types who find it just as hard to keep their opinion to themselves.

World Of Warcraft, I tend to ignore them as well as threads of highly logical standing since I do not wish to interrupt their highly intellectual conversations.

The words "epic", "fail", "awesome", "politics", "Republican", "Democrat" or "America" in the title.

Loaded questions. There is absolutely no point in a thread where the op has not only completely made his mind up about everything but is also attempting to close down any relevant dissenting opinions before they have even been posted.

Anything tl;dr, especially when I'm tired. Or something uninteresting, or anything that I can't post a useful reply either through my ignorance or if I have nothing new to add.

Most of the time I usually read through and put my two cents in, though, like this thread here.

I'm about to start ignoring threads that have gun ownership, Israel and war as subjects.

Mostly because when someone gives a good, rational explanation to a statement, it's largely ignored by people who don't want to view the subject rationally.

The gun ownership threads are seriously starting to make my head hurt. It's like people in Britain or other high gun-control countries don't take time to understand cultural differences between countries before accusing other open gun-control countries of being extreme. Seriously, do people not actually read or study anything they talk about anymore?

When I don't have anything to say on the topic, really. If it's something I don't really give a crap about, there's no point in posting "I don't care." Also,

I don't want to be the person that posts the semi-irrelevant, not-well-thought out answer and bugs everyone else.

Adorable fluffy animals.

Sometimes, I just can't get outraged over copyright law.

"What is your opinion?" thread titles. They're nearly always lists of peoples' opinions with no discussion whatsoever. A lot of recent threads have been like this so I've hardly bothered to read any unfortunately.

This, kinda. I'm also becoming wary of Final Fantasy 7 threads. Or Final Fantasy threads in general. A lot of them turn out to be "why do people think it's so great?" Same for Halo.

the threads that does the following:

Statement:
Discuss

.... then OP whines when about free speech when people say, "That's a ____. What's is there to discuss?"
