When I first finished watching the conference, I was quite disappointed. I've certainly been more OK with it as time has gone on. The thing is, it was not a great showing, but at least there were games I want to play. Nintendo's 2008 conference was far worse than this one, it had nothing substantial. This one still had stuff one could look forward to, even if there were no huge new announcements.

What I learned from the conference was that people don't pay attention when they said that they were only showing games that were coming out this year or early next.

I do wish some of the other stuff they were showing on Treehouse or on the Youtube channel were on the conference, but they'll probably have another Direct in a month or two to show them off.

That new Fatal Frame and Fast Racing Neo. Yummy.

What I learned is that Nintendo still has the most accessible archive of their event alongside doing exactly what they were planning to do and then some depending if you still love the Muppets...

Other than that, my inpatients for waiting for both Star Fox Zero and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is slowly starting to get to me... *twitch*

How can people get hyped about these sorts of things when so much of the game industry is based on promises that never get fulfilled, especially after what is considered the worst year ever in terms of buggy, broken releases of games that completely failed to live up to their prerendered/vertical slice promises? What the hell happened? Did we all just forget the last two years?
I don't know, how can you get hyped for the same game over and over? It's all a matter of perspective really.
