Who has a game they'd love to see be remade? I personally would like to see Banjo and Tooie remade because I loved that game, and accidentally broke my N64 cartridge.

I'd also like to see a remake of the original Chrono Trigger, and maybe an updated Pokemon Colosseum. Colosseum was the first game I ever begged for, and I occasionally still play it

G-Police for the Playstation 1. I always thought it was a pretty cool game, and with todays game technology it would be pretty impressive-looking and even more fun to play.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2. High definition graphics, unlockable characters, arranged/remixed soundtrack... Yes, please.

Also, Super Metroid. It's a crying shame that that franchise hasn't been brought into the next generation of gaming (No, Metroid Prime doesn't count. Fine game, but it wasn't Metroid. Not even close).

Seriously, this same thread was on the front page LAST NIGHT.

I hate to be a dick man, but you should really use the search bar before posting. I understand that you're fairly new but repeating threads is a really quick way to annoy people.

There never HAS to be a game remade, but if it was a life or death situation then I would say ocarina of time. No story changes just updated graphics.

None. No game should ever be remade. It's just a waste of time.

Was about to say that.

Rise Of Nations
most definitely. And most of all a bunch of Amiga games. That would be absolutely wonderful.

I'd rather see something new spring to lfe, new stories and new games. Remakes are for movies, and they can't pull it off good.

We love the games from the past so much because of what they were then. I feel as if we upgrade them, they'll just lose the appeal they had. It's just a nostalgia-type of thing, really.

Plus, why dwell on the past when we can take all the money not being used on remakes and use it on making spectacular new games to fall in love with?

There are loads of great old PC games that either don't work or are needlessly difficult to get to work on Windows 7 (or XP).

Is it bad that I keep around a computer running Windows 98 for that exact purpose?

maybe we'd like to share our favourite games with our children someday... y'know, when you can't find a 64 anymore and the only way you can play games is by stapling a piece of small paper to the back of your hand and drawing a picture in your mind.

it's fun in my little fantasy world

I believe that "Buck Bumble" should receive a remake.

Sure it did not sell well, but the times I had in that game were awesome.

It proved that something strange and outlandish could be fun.

I have mixed feelings on this to be honest.

Twin Snakes was God-awful and all it made me do was miss the original, however the GC Resident Evil was superb, and did far more for the franchise than 4 and 5 combined in my opinion. Also, Tomb Raider Anniversary on the PS2 really impressed me, the attention to detail for a PS2 game was fantastic and it serves as a nice accompaniment to Legend and Underworld.
