That's why I suggest a space epic. Rockstar is good at creating different settings for their games and it would be awesome.
Exactly my thoughts.
I mean, they explored the modern setting long enough. They even did the Wild West. They could go back even FURTHER but I am actually wondering how creative and original Rockstar is actually is. I want a space sci-fi kind of thing. I am wondering how that will work out.
I mean, so far, Mass Effect is definitly my favourite sci-game.
That is an awesome idea! It makes me think of a GTA in space type of game, offering a complete new take on the future/sci-fi games because
you would be the street thug selling future drugs and hijacking flying "cars." I think about the city streets in games like Star Wars Bounty Hunter or in the films when there are city scenes, except you could run to rob a bank, leap into a parked future car and fly off into the air while being tailed by the law enforcement, doing manuevers and dives to evade them. That in itself would make the whole "escaping" part of GTA totally different.
Rockstar would also have PLENTY of material to spoof for sci fi that has not really been used that much because just about all sci fi games are serious. It could be like Grand Theft SpaceBalls!
*Just another idea: I haven't played Red Dead, but I've heard something about skinning animal pelts. You could do poaching jobs and hunt exotic future/space animals.
