Alright escapist.
I find myself in a bit of a quandry.
I have 1600 MS points, but no idea what to spend them on.
I do not have X-Box Live Gols right now and will not have it for the foreseeable future.
What does the X-Box Marketplace offer that's worth-while?
In short, what should I buy with my 1600 points?

Are you interested in the DLC for games you have? I find DLC provides a satisfying extension to some of my favorite games...although the key word is "some."

Well, I spent around 1200 points on Banjo-Kazooie, and I had a mini-nostalgasm. If you want a new game, I hear Ikaruga's good, if you're into that sort of thing.

Well, Halo 3's DLC would be useless to me.
I COULD get alt. costumes for SFIV, but I just know I'll have SSFIV at some point (waiting for a price drop) and that would seem a waste.
I'm don't care about BioShock 2's DLC (its all multiplayer, right?).

Other games I own are:
Dead Space
Oblivion (GotY)
Blue Dragon
that's it believe it or not...

Ah, so DLC is out. Bioshock 2's DLC is nonsense, yeah, it's exclusively for the multiplayer arena. Boo. I'm a huge Fallout 3 fan, so the DLC really enriched my experience with that game (Broken Steel is invaluable, Mothership Zeta for die-hards only).

I wish I had more recommendations for you, but I'm none too familiar with Arcade games. I'll look forward to seeing what other posters recommend in this area!

I want Fallout 3 so bad, but that money has to go to New Vegas.

Since you have Oblivion the expansion pack was a lot of fun. It's called The Shivering Isles.

I don't know the exact price of it, but Castle Crashers is a really fun game. It is also 4 player offline, I do not know whether that matters or not.

Here is some gameplay of it:

Ahh right, right, I forgot they came with that. Ummm.... you really don't have too many games so DLC is kinda out. You could always buy some cool shit for your avatar. Or get some themes/gamer pics. Or rent some movies.

I youtube'd it, liked the song, and decided not to buy it. What a coincidence.

Shadow complex is pretty damn good or just go for the classic Castlevania SOTN both are adventure games that you could sink a ton of time into.

I was thinking SOTN. Its one of the few Castlevania games I haven't played yet. I'm going to have to wikipedia/google Shadow Complex, however...

EDIT: Oh, SC is THAT game...
Yeah...
Maybe.

If you have the patience for it (And I mean ALOT of patience) then Braid is an ingenious little puzzler. If not, then get Portal: Still Alive if you haven't gotten that yet. There will be cake, cubes, and overused memes.

I've played it on PC. Any differences other than e-peni... achievements? (still alive)

I'm on the fence with Braid.

Yeah definitly look it up its a "metroidvania" type game but built with the ut3 engine its really fancy but if you played a lot of the ds Castlevanias you might want to go with Shadow Complex it might be refreshing to you

I dunno. The screenshots look awful Contra-ish to me...

EDIT: Watched a video. I was wrong. Its Super Metroidvania alright...
