Hi. Tomorrow, in celebration of the season, I am going to watch movies for a day. And I want YOU: that's right, YOU: to decide what movies I'm going to watch. I've already picked out a handful:

Citizen Kane
True Grit
Lord of the Rings: The First One

Now, as you can see, I have some slots left. So, now, Escapist, do your thing! Decide for me!

(To give you a good reference to run by what kind of movies I like, my 3 favorite movies o' all time are:

Spirited Away
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
Edward Scissorhands)

I'm surprised you could find the Bakshi films, unless you were just planning to stream them off the internet.
Um, what?

I just couldn't remember the name of the first LotR movie . . .

I'd recommend Coraline and Sweeney Todd, the former because it has similarities to spirited away (a girl enters an unusual world) though the tone is somewhat inverted, and Sweny Todd because it's a damn good film for one and it has that Tim Burton charm.

Also if you haven't seen it Nightmare Before Christmas often described as "Tim Burton at his Tim Burtoniest" despite the fact he didn't direct it, he did write it though.

Um, hello. I'm having another movie night, and, well, to be frank, I had either already seen or did not want to watch the films you'd offered. Please try again.

The whole of the Studio Ghibli's repertoire? Haha

Inception? Hmmm... I just watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice. Since I had to endure it, so should you!

Sunshine. Epic sci-fi and was pretty low key so I'm going to assume you haven't seen it.

The Royal Tenenbaums. Dark comedy and one of my favorites.

Push. Mediocore sci-fi but the premise is interesting and it's relatively unoffensive.

Planet Terror and Death Proof. Just watch them, seriously.

Zombieland. Enough. Fucking. Said.

Damn it, I know what would, given those examples, really interest you. However, I've misplaced the names of the movies...

Oh well. I am tired, so why not just google "Tim Burton" and his works/parts he played in movies.

Watch some James Bond movies.
This, and watch the ones with Sean Connery in them, they're the best.

Also, give Law Abiding Citizen a try. It's one of my favorites, albeit very gruesome.
