Indiana, home of the Indy 500, the Indianapolis Colts, that other sports-thing and corn! My god do we have a lot of corn.

I can't verify this, but I remember a geography teacher telling me that Indiana was one of Austrailia's largest supplier of corn. Iddn't that nifty?? No? Yeah, I didn't think so either...

Norway here.

Hmm, what can we showcase then? Oil, fish, blondes, polar bears, good healthcare and a shitload of snow.

Culturally; Ole Bull, Bjørnstjerne Bjørnsson, Henrik Ibsen, Henrik Wergeland and Edvard Munch (painted The Scream). Those are the ones I remember from the top of my head who are at least relatively known internationally.

I myself am from Washington State, Southwest Washington to be precise I'm pretty sure Washington is known for apples and the Space Needle. Also we are known for rain, lots and lots of rain.
Hey fellow Washingtonian, I live in southwest Washington too. Longview to be exact, and yes, it is raining right now.
Ewww Longview. Nah a lot of my family lives there so I can't dislike it too much. Camas is where it's at BTW.
There's not much to do in Longview, but that is kinda offset by having a large group of good friends. So "ewww Longview" isn't too far off.
Camas doesn't have much to do but we are also right next to Vancouver so we have that... did you go to R.A Long or Mark Morris?

Florida - The land where 40 degrees Fahrenheit is the coldest weather year 'round.

Pretty diverse place overall.

@Grim, you know I read the title of the thread thinking 'there's no way he's from Washington', then I opened it, read the first sentence, and guess what I learned? xD

Btw, a big hallow from Olympia :)

Arizona, best celebrated for the Grand Canyon, a great big crack on the Earth. We are also known for Mexicans, shooting people with six shooters, tequila, and shooting Mexicans with a six shooters while drinking tequila.

Edit: Oh, and drugs, gang violence, John Mccain, and yeah.
Don't forget those beheadings! Scary. Headless bodies left out in the desert.

I'm originally from Minnesota (though not living there now). It's known for lots and lots of lakes, the Mall of America, the crappiest sports teams in every sport except baseball, the Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St. Paul), and for being really f***ing cold and snowy in the winter. Oh, and for Jesse Ventura once being our governor and Al Franken now being one of our senators. *sigh* *facepalm*

EDIT: Lest I forget, Michele f***ing Bachmann, too... *double sigh and facepalm*

No, those are dead prostitutes. We have some terrible whores. That or the gangs get lazy trying to dump bodies.

Hmmm... good question. I lived most of my life in the redneck part of Florida (yes, there is a redneck part of Florida) and then I moved out here to Texas, where I currently live. However, my dad is from Alabama, as is almost every member of my extended family, so I have a dominant "Alabamian gene".

I'm just going to go with "the South".

I have never been further Northeast than Virginia, I grew up Southern Baptist, I don't dislike country music, and I have a hint of an accent that has the tendency to expose itself in moments of passion.

California, I was born here and raised here. And god willing, I'll escape this hippie hellhole someday.
Same situation here, and a big ditto on that statement. I'd like someplace with more personal freedoms, lower taxes and a lower unemployment rate which would be nice. Maybe I'll head back to Nevada where I lived for a few years. Maybe I'll just find somewhere else completely. Hopefully a good job could sort that out.

"The great state of Florida.... must be a typo..."

To quote Jon Stewart

EDIT: Known for whacky weather (as stated above), old people, and jews.

We're also technically responsible for unleashing this guy on the world:

Sorry about that one...
