amnesia:the darkdecent when finally getting near the end
when one has found all the orb pieces and you can't find the last ingredient for Agrippa and you finally just think "meh, I've got the orb I don't need Agrippa" and go to the big brige room and BAM! monster in face ripping your guts out, and then and then the "dead screen" just says "and then you sleep..." until you wake up in a prison because appearently that was all supposed to happen... o.0

Every single thing in Deadly Premonition. I never played the game but after watching the Two Best Friends Play episode on YouTube where they were playing this game I went and watched most of the game.

It is a shame they never put this out in North America for the PS3.

EDIT: Fixed the embed code...
OMG you watch Two Best Friends Plau as well?! That series is awresome haha!!!

Wondering how on earth people get 300+ APM in Starcraft 2. That's five actions every second, I usually do about 60 and it feels like I'm going pretty flat out :p

I was playing morrowind a while back and as i was running across the badlands, something hit me from behind. I looked around but there was nothing there, which kinda wierded me out a bit.

I carried on going but I got hit again and as i turned around, nothing, again. Now I was starting to get really freaked out, so i legged it as fast as i could away from that area.

After a while i turned back around and saw the tail of a cliff racers swipe past my face. I looked up at the sky and saw a swarm of 20 or so cliff racers just floating above my head. I was like WTF!

The end of Crysis 2, it was... clever, but I still had to think "WTF?!" when
"Alcatraz" says "they call me Prophet".
o_O
I thought the suit was talking for him?
This is just my thoughts that they seemed to imply

It was implied that through the symbiosis, the suit actually kept most of prophet's conscious self, and that this was transferred partly to Alcatraz (a weak, almost dead, anonymous soldier) as the suit merged with his broken body. The fact that he has so many of Prophet's memories is part of what implies this shift. Also the "breaking the link" between Prophet and the suit was not completely successful, even with the suicide. And when you take into account all the changes in the nanosuit and its complexity in being able to hold those memories, it could easily "re-wire" the traumatized and damaged body and brain of Alcatraz to "become" Prophet, the previous wearer who had transferred so much of himself to the suit. That was the impression I got...

It just made sense, because
The suit would not likely respond to "what do they call you", but rather, the person(s) in it would, also the whole symbiosis thing with the suit could mean that the original data of the old wearer and the new wearer themselves form a semi-symbiotic relationship

Although with that ending it is hard to be sure :p

I think the bit in Amnesia: Dark Descent where Daniel gets to the torture rooms. Especially the one where the girl got her shoulders snapped in half. I shuddered and felt a little sadistic for even playing the game at that moment xD

Ever play The Darkness? Well, there's a moment towards the beginning where you visit your girlfriend Jenny's new apartment, and after getting the setup for the next bit of plot out of the way you can sit down and watch Tv with her. As To Kill a Mockingbird plays in glorious black and white, Jenny fidgets around a bit on the couch, plays around with your hand, and after a bit, she kisses "you" (this whole bit is not a cutscene, you understand) in a genuinely touching emotional moment that is only slightly marred by the fact that you get an achievement for having it.

This was not my moment. My moment came a few seconds later when I realized that this cheap, ugly, short little comic book tie-in game made me care more about an NPC love interest than any Fable title I've ever played, or any other game I will ever play.
You too? xD

That, and the swingset glitch in GT4, when you first find out about it, because you tried driving through the little park to escape a 4 star wanted level.
And let's get a little perspective here; You can have sex with your love interest in Fable, and it doesn't come anywhere close to touching what The Darkness provides.

Does this mean I wasn't the only one pissed off when the Darkness held me back during her later dilemma?

I nearly cracked my controller open. x.x;

Prince of Persia (2008)'s ending.

the whole game you are collecting these light orbs to save this magic tree that is used to seal evil so it can never escape. The girl partner is connected by some curse thing related to the tree, so once you save the tree the girl dies, so the prince kills the tree, saves the girl and release this horrible evil onto the world. The End.

that game pisses me off. I've never felt so betrayed by a game character before in my life.

Mostly because it is heavily influenced by David Lynchs "Twin Peaks". They probably saw that old show and thought, "Hey, let's make this even WEIRDER!"

Most of Bayonetta for all the right reasons, the end of the Assassin's Creed games for all the wrong reasons.

Morrowind, playing a Total Conversion. At this point I had gotten into the habit of simply clicking through everything and not paying any attention to what people said. After the screen faded in and out of black, I found that I had slept with a Prostitute and contracted an STI. Needless to say, from then on I always read what people said to me quite thoroughly.

And then there is every single time I play Red Dead Redemption with my Friends. I have the nickname of 'Kenny' on it for my numerous deaths. One time me and a friend were standing at the bottom of a cliff playing Highwaymen, we wait for a carriage, then we'd shot the riders and take it. A Bear fell from above us, killed me instantly, and ignored my friend, before walking off. This happened a second time with a Cougar.

On topic - Prince of Persia (2009) when you let all the evil you just spent the game sealing loose again... because the hot girl willingly died to do so

Prototype - discovering the virus outbreak is all your fault and that Alex Mercer is already dead
