MATH BLASTER 2000 IS THE BEST GAME EVER CREATED. CHALLENGE ME.

Seriously though, when I was like 7 there was nothing more epic than the math caves and dodging the perilous multiplication droplets.

I need to find that disc!

Sonic the Hedgehog. I'd have been 3 or 4, so around 1993. From that moment until this very day I have never stopped playing games.

I still remember the day I got my own PS1, too. Dad decided that he'd buy me my own one so that I wouldn't spend so much time on his. Not that that was a bad thing. Most of the games we'd play were single player so one would control what was happening and the other would discuss how to progress. Things like Tomb Raider, C&C and Doom. And I don't think I ever beat him on Worms.

Might and Magic VI.

I KNOW.

I have memories of Link's Awakening and this other PC game that I can't remember the name of from around the same time, but I'm pretty sure Might and Magic came first. I was like three or four when I would play that with my dad.

Eternal Champions on Sega Genesis. It came with the Sega and was my first system and game. It was probably either Christmas of 1991 or 1992.

I found this thread and couldn't resist it, but the first game i played and owned was either Half-life on PC or Spiderman on PS1 (arguably the best game ever) both the same year (2000) they were all polygons and "crappy" graphics (personally i think the graphics are amazing), but i wouldn't have stood for anything else, and i love them both to this day, and still own both!

Spyro the Dragon on PS1 would've been my first I believe... Ooh, but then again perhaps it was Rayman? Hmmm... I'm leaning towards Rayman actually; my mum was quite into it at the time :)

Pokemon Blue for Game Boy Color. 1998, I believe. I was always sharing that game with my siblings because we all wanted to play it... Bulbasaur was my first. *sigh*

First game in an arcade I can remember playing would be a pinball machine in a movie theatre when I was two years old in 1974. In term of video games...it would have been the arcade games Space Invaders, Frogger, Donkey Kong and Pac-Man. All around 1980-2. Pong or Asteroids on an Atari in a electronics store next to my house...probably around 1981. My family couldn't afford an Atari..because they were really expensive. Ended up getting a Colecovision around 1982-3, because they were cheap, and then there was lots of gaming it my house: Looping, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Jr.

Good Times!

Test Drive, 1999, PSX. Good times. It might actually have been the first, too, not just the first I remember playing.
