It's a toss-up between a few games:
Rayman on my parents Playstation, Sonic (Can't remember which, it was only a brief play) on my cousins Sega, or Mario Kart on a friends N64. All of them some time between 1997-2000
Parents were never big gamers, therefore didn't get into gaming till we moved and they bought me a Gameboy :c

Morrowind on XBox.

...yeah...

By the way, first time I played through, I thought the silt striders would attack me so didn't use them for ages. And I hit level 13 and hadn't done Arkngthand.
Hey, I was 10. Give me a break.

A game about helicopters back on the ol' Commodore 64. That and the epilepsy inducing loading screens that accompanied tape drives.

It was definitely something for the SNES, sometime between '93 and '97 (the year I got a PlayStation). I would say it was probably A Link To The Past - what a way to start!

Also, I now remember my first game purchase - Rival Turf, also for the SNES. It was an average beat-em-up, but it had two of the best character names ever: Jack Flak and Oozie Nelson!

God of Thunder.
Took months to beat but I was very young. One of my favorite games to date just for nostalgia.

It was either Duck hunt or Super Mario Bros. I really can't remember which was first but I remember having a lot of fun!

Bomberman, we rented it every weekend for the Super Nintendo. My brothers and I thought it was the coolest thing in the world.

Hmm...
Twas either SMB3 on the SNES or Sonic The Hedgehog 2 on the MegaDrive (Genesis for you crazy people ;))

My mum got a SNES the same year it came out and my father had done the same with the Sega Megadrive, I started playin them myself at the age of two.
I was pretty much a gamer by 5, already playing some of the more punishing games like Battletoads in Battlemaniacs and Echo the Dolphin.

The old Star Wars Death Star trench-run arcade game. It was 20c a play, and I believe I played it at Miranda Fair, in Sydney, around 1984. My grandfather was rather disappointed that I died in about 15 seconds and promptly started demanding another 20c.

I haven't changed, except I die every 30 seconds or so.

Tetris. Can't remember the name of the handheld though; I was really young. Yeah, I remember my dad getting into that, playing it with me sometimes.
Of course I've gone on playing games since then. What kind of a dumb question is that? -.- Thanks for the good memories though. ;)
