Spectre Supreme.

Oh yeah. My mother would drive and I'd be on the cannon (Spacebar).

Actually, it could be that, Myst, Spelunx, Return To Zork, one of the Living Books games or something obscure like Sammy Science House or Thinking Things or that weird game where you had to find that cat.

Hell, it could be a whole mess of stuff. I even had dreams about Mario (Despite never owning a Nintendo console 'til years later), what I retroactively believe to be 7th Guest, and my earliest dream involved those weird low res flat textures walls you saw in old FPSs (At least, until I entered the crocodiles kitchen. Word of advice, don not enter the crocodiles kitchen, unless there's someone younger with you. And listen to the protests of your youngest son about not entering the kitchen).

Er... Tetris is a game game, don't be silly.  Heroes 3 is quite the game to start with, though.

Mine is pong.  Not sure what we were using to play it on but all it played was pong games.  We had Tennis, Football or Squash but they were all Pong. The controls were just joysticks there weren't even any buttons on them. As for age I must have been about 3/4 at the time.  My parents would play with me or I'd play myself depending on what they were doing.
Sounds like the [a href=http://cgrempire.com/2011/03/super-color-volley-x-console-part-1/]Super Color Volley X[/a], except for the football.  There may have been many plug-in-and-play (as there still are) derivatives in the 80's though, so hard to say.

OT: Sonic the Hedgehog on the Genesis, I believe.  I had a couple others to choose from, but that's the one that sticks out most.  I'm told I started playing around 3, so ~'92/'93.  I was pretty obsessive about playing games as a child (now it's more about reading about them I guess :/) and thanks to some friends and relatives I can remember instances of quite a few.  Lots of these games I didn't know the name of very well (even now in some cases), my concern at the time was playing them.  Solitaire, Minesweeper, Pong, Snake, Kroz II, Gorillas, Paganitzu, Crystal Caves, Double Dragon (Master System), Phantasy Star, Altered Beast (Master System), Pharoah's Tomb, Castle Wolfenstein 3D, Duck Hunt, Super Mario Bros., Sonic 2, Sonic 3, Sonic Spinball, Dino Land, Ecco, Invaders, TaleSpin (Genesis), Taz, BattleToads in BattleManiacs, Alladin (repeated rental), Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster's Hidden Treasure, Wayne's World, and Krusty's Fun House, likely all before the age of six.  I probably played other classics like Pacman and Tetris among many other less classic games, but you get the idea.  I can't say I was any good at them, but I do have vivid memories of the intensity I felt back then.

My parents weren't really involved with my gaming (my Dad may have started me out with Solitaire, MineSweeper, some DOS games) and I inherited the Genesis from my sister. Considering my obsession with video games, I tend to consider myself impoverished in terms of actual game ownership growing up. Looking back, the obsession seems quite unhealthy?

Canon Fodder on Amiga 500, i never got further than third or fourth level, i think, but i had a ton of fun anyways. The computer was in my father's bedroom, so i had to ask him everytime i wanted to play, and later he hated me being there playing almost all the time so much that he moved the Amiga into our room. So then i was just praying that the sound the floppy made when amiga booted up doesn't wake up my sister at saturday+sunday morning (about 6 or 7 AM, that's the time i used to wake up on weekends). Oh, the year was about 1995.

The first tomb raider game on the computer. Didn't get very far in it, was just a kid at the time. Great fun though!

Do Commodore Vic 20 games count? I cannot remember the names though.

Other than that I also had an Atari 2600 & 5200 ... played Space Invaders, Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger, Kaboom!, Pitfall!, & Centipede (to just name the ones I can remember).

It was either marble madness, duck hunt, or super mario bros 3. I don't remember which, but I know that it was one of them.

System: Nintendo 64
Game: Super Mario 64
Year: 1997
Age: 3

My parents bought it for me, however whenever I had trouble with it, they would step in and help me. I remember once, we played the entire game in one night, swapping the controller to eachother and having turns at different levels.

When I think about it my first game was rather Lemmings or Winter Games. I also played them at the house of a friend of my father. But Super Mario Land was the first one I owned. I had to beg my parents to get me a Game Boy. Back in the old days... ;)
