My earliest gaming memories are of me playing NES. Gauntlet, Mario Bros, and Duckhunt, one of those are likely my first game. I doubt it was Duckhunt though since I did not know how to play it. We had the gun but I did not realise it was the needed controller.

Dude, that other thread is a year old, I'm pretty sure people don't mind doing repeats of topics after so long, especially since new people have undoubtely joined the forums since then. By you logic we would never be able to discuss anything more than once, which is frankly stupid.

Mine was Sonic 1 on the Master System. I have a crystal clear memory of it (my mum had a go too and couldn't figure out how to jump, despite the controller only having 2 buttons and a d-pad).
