A New Zealand Story for the Amiga 1200, way back when I was five.

That game was ridiculously hard for me then.

I'm not sure, but I think stands between Birthright and Warcraft.

Mine was either Pitfall or Pac-Man for the Atari, or Double Dare for the Apple (Back when that was all they were called was Apple Computers). I think it was probably Pac-Man, but it was too long ago.

Urmm... I have memories of an Atari 3 or something maybe? This game with an upscrolling screen and planes...
I remember that one too. Can't think of the name of it for the life of me. Doesn't help that there ended up being a ton of games like that too.

Pong on a 12" B&W TV. That was the pinnacle of home-entertainment technology back then.
Wow. Here I was all set to feel superior to all these young-'uns whose first experiences with gaming came in the 90s and you go and show me up. Jerk! :p

My very earliest gaming memory (and it's vague) comes from when I was a wee lad, playing "Space Invaders" on my dad's work computer (which, IIRC, cost a fortune to buy and had little more capability than a word processor). The first game that I really remember getting involved in and sucked into was "Space Quest II" not long after it came out. We played it on our old Tandy 1000. I remember that rig. We had to upgrade it to 64K of RAM so we could play the new, fancy games like "Space Quest III" and "Hoyle's Book of Games" and "A-10 Tank Killer."

Prince Of Persia on whatever computer that originally was on (haven't a clue im afraid) or possible earlier than that some game where you put together dinosaur skeletons in weird ways to create new species (Kind of like an extremely simplified spore creature creator i suppose). You could then print them off, although the printing took about three days.

The first game i owned was Spiderman for the Mega Drive. That was the balls.

Legend of Zelda on the NES. Hooked on RPG's for life. One of my kids went on to shooters and the other followed in her old ma's footsteps.

I would bet that their first game was whatever the first Mario on the NES was, but they, too, may have started with LOZ.

Pffff that is hard to say... I think my first game was a PC game, so possibly the first Myst. If not, then it probably was Super Mario Bros. and Duck Hunt. Or was it Pac-man for the PC? Possibly Prince of Persia. Well I have no idea ^^
