*Cough* http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.123927#2536385 *Cough*

Anyway, I started out with a gameboy colour I got for Christmas.
The page I searched was an entire page of "What was your first RPG" Or "Your favorite console"...sorry >_>
No problem :D A tip for the future, click the "in title only" bit, you'll get better results.

Sega Genesis was my first home console. My first handheld was a Game Boy Color, but I mainly only got games from the original Game Boy. The only Game Boy Color game I have is Pokemon Crystal.

The first console in my home was NES and every other console after is shared, even to this day and me and my brothers don't even live together; the only thing I don't like is that I'm the only one providing the games and stuff. We weren't the family that would hate sharing things. My first would be a hand-held and was the original Game Boy.

Atari 5200

Until it started smoking and eventuallly died. No one gives the 5200 any love anymore. That system was the shit. At least this one had a compitant version of Pac-Man

Compared to the 2600, the 5200 was horrible. I got it, and the controller never even worked, it was twice the size as the other one, and the games had no end labels.

It was either the original Playstation or a SNES. I can't remember which came first, though.

I was a bit backwards. First the original Xbox, then the N64, then an Xbox 360.

Hey, just because a system sucked doesn't mean that it wasn't awesome. I have very fond memories of that system. Sure I enjoyed my time with Nintendo much better, but you always remember your first.

NES was the first one I played. Might have been 2 or 3. Super nintendo was probably the first console I owned though.
