What was your first console?

My first non handheld was a gamecube. A cool black one. I made sure of that.

Atari 5200

Until it started smoking and eventuallly died. No one gives the 5200 any love anymore. That system was the shit. At least this one had a compitant version of Pac-Man

Compared to the 2600, the 5200 was horrible. I got it, and the controller never even worked, it was twice the size as the other one, and the games had no end labels.

Hey, just because a system sucked doesn't mean that it wasn't awesome. I have very fond memories of that system. Sure I enjoyed my time with Nintendo much better, but you always remember your first.

You do have a good point. I'll never forget the 2600 and all its 8-bit glory.
