I'm a month and some shy of 26. My first console was the NES. I never actually remember going out and buying games for it, only that on one Christmas my each got a game as a present, don't remember who got what, they were the Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(the one based off the arcade game). I guess my brother who is three years older than me or my parents are the ones that went out and bought games for it.
We did, in the end, end up having around 22 games for the thing. They all work today, except Zelda 2, sadly. I thought it was because of the old system was having the most problems with just it and it wasn't playing, but after I got a third party system a year ago, I found that it wasn't the old NES, it was the Zelda 2 cartridge, but I don't know what could be the problem with it.
The third party system is kind of nice, since it plays NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis games.
List of systems I have had not counting PCs:
NES
The original grey brick, Gameboy.
SNES
Nintendo 64
Two Gameboy Color, one green, one yellow.
Gamecube
PS2(only for about a year, it was my brother's, and my mom told him since he didn't play it all that much, why not sell it to a kid of a friend of hers. I was pissed because I played it at least once a week, though we only had Tekken Tag Tournament for it. But since it had been a Christmas gift for just my brother, he was allowed to sell it without me having a say.)
Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Advance SP(I lost it in an old house, long before we moved out of it. It is the mystery of my time, it just vanished.)
Wii
DS Lite, crimson
Xbox 360
I'm the type of gamer, that if I had the money, I would buy get a collection of every game system ever made, current and old.
