I'm 23 and the first system I played was my older Brothers NES (I miss Duck Hunt!)

The first system that was mine was the SNES (the first games being DK Country, Mario all-stars and of course Street Fighter II) and Genesis shortly followed (Sonic 2, streets of rage 2, Mortal Kombat and more Street Fighters)

oo how i miss the 16 bit days

I'm a month and some shy of 26. My first console was the NES. I never actually remember going out and buying games for it, only that on one Christmas my each got a game as a present, don't remember who got what, they were the Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers game and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles(the one based off the arcade game). I guess my brother who is three years older than me or my parents are the ones that went out and bought games for it.

We did, in the end, end up having around 22 games for the thing. They all work today, except Zelda 2, sadly. I thought it was because of the old system was having the most problems with just it and it wasn't playing, but after I got a third party system a year ago, I found that it wasn't the old NES, it was the Zelda 2 cartridge, but I don't know what could be the problem with it.

The third party system is kind of nice, since it plays NES, SNES, and Sega Genesis games.

List of systems I have had not counting PCs:

NES
The original grey brick, Gameboy.
SNES
Nintendo 64
Two Gameboy Color, one green, one yellow.
Gamecube

PS2(only for about a year, it was my brother's, and my mom told him since he didn't play it all that much, why not sell it to a kid of a friend of hers. I was pissed because I played it at least once a week, though we only had Tekken Tag Tournament for it. But since it had been a Christmas gift for just my brother, he was allowed to sell it without me having a say.)

Gameboy Advance

Gameboy Advance SP(I lost it in an old house, long before we moved out of it. It is the mystery of my time, it just vanished.)

Wii
DS Lite, crimson
Xbox 360

I'm the type of gamer, that if I had the money, I would buy get a collection of every game system ever made, current and old.

29 and my First system was an Atari 2600 I think I first played on it when I was 4 or 5 at my godfathers house and I raised hell when I had to go home so he gave me it. :)

I still have it and I play Pac man and Space Invaders on it.

I miss it too, even though I do still have the game and the light-gun. I got a third party system a several months ago, and when I hooked it up to my HDTV and plugged in Mario with Duck Hunt, I found that the light-gun didn't work/register.

The sad fact is that the light-gun still works, the problem is that such old light devices don't work on the HDTVs of today.

So if I want to play Duck Hunt, I'm going to have to find and an buy an old tube TV.

I'm 16, and my first console was a Sega Saturn, I think. It was a Sega console that took discs, not sure if there were any of those around that time besides the Saturn.
Then when I was 2 I spat medicine on it and it broke. Heh.
But that was more of a console that me and my brother and sister shared. My first console that was my own was a PS1.

I'm 16, pretty sure my first one is the one I still have. It was the second Nintendo Game boy, not the big block the smaller more handheld one that actually coined handheld gaming. I played Pokemon Blue 24/7 on it.

I'm 24. The first system I played was the NES, (still works). The first system I owned was the N64, (still works). The earliest system I've played is the Atari 2600, (my Grandpa's still works).
