23, commodore 64 retro oh yeah! although I don't really remember much of the commodore first console I properly started playing games on was my Sega Master System, with built in Alex the Kid!!
17, I had a Sega Genesis. My tiny 5-year-old brain wasn't that good at the games (I had Sonic 1-3, Space Harrier 2, Aeroblasters, and a few others) but I still had tons of fun playing them.
I'm 17 and I'm fairly certain that it's a Genesis. It's either that or a Playstation 1. Man, you could throw a PS1 down the stairs and it'd still work like it was straight out of the box.
I'm 23 and the first console that was genuinely mine was the Gameboy Pocket. Before that there was the NES, SNES and, Sega Genesis but those belonged to my Dad and, Step-dad respectively.
15. I started with the PS1 and the original Gameboy (both of which were my dads). I remember not being allowed to play Tomb Raider, so I just played Spyro and Crash Bandicoot.
I am 21 and my first system and only dedicated console was a Sega Genesis gifted by one of my aunts. My only other system was a GameBoy Advance gifted by another aunt.
I never bought one as I can't justify spending so much money on something that my PC can easily do while also doing several other things.
I am not against consoles but I just can't afford it.
