^first one I played

I never really owned one until Splinter Cell Chaos Theory. Before that I never found any M games I wanted.

What rating was Conker's Bad Fur Day? That'd probably be my first. Actually if Alien vs Predator on super nintendo was M then that would be the first I got to play.

Too be honest the rating system came about later.

I have to say arcade games back the in 80s pulled a lot of high brow blood and gore that was never transitioned well into consoles or a console at the time.....lol

Ever played Narc? Would have been a definite M rated game. One of the first games to use digitalized graphics that made Mortal Kombat popular later on.

Probably Mortal Kombat 4 for the N64. That was also the first video game my family ever rented.

You know I really can't remember.

My first 'grown up' game was Metal Gear Solid, must have got that in '98 or '99. Before that all I really played was Spyro, Sonic, Rayman, Crash, Croc etc.

I guess I had the Oddworld games for my Playstation too, but I watched my sister play them more than anything.

Grand Theft Auto 3. I didn't even like it that much, and started playing Ratchet and Clank again after an hour or two.

I think it was Prince of Persia: Warrior Within.
I pretty much regretted that one.

Search Bar please! This topic has been done before.
Didn't see anything recently about my topic; what the hell is so good about the search bar I can understand if it was a topic about a recently released game, but if you've seen a random topic just ignore it, its not that big of a deal.

Aw how I wish I knew about System Shock 2 when I was young. I'm trying to find where I can buy it, ever since I heard it was like the original Bioshock.
You'll probably find it a bit of a (forgive the pun) shock to the system if/when you find it. They don't really play similar, nor are there any similar aspects to the games, they just seem... similar in their aesthetics (everything decaying around you) and interaction (everyone being dead and you looting dead bodies).

That being said the game is very good, and incredibly creepy/scary - the dated graphics perhaps add to the grotesque as your brain fills in the blanks.

OT: Err... either Wolf3D or Doom, I believe both were on a mass shareware disk that my granddad got back in ~1993, so whichever I loaded up first. That being said these games are rated '15' in the UK, with there being one higher rating '18'. My first '18' game would have probably been GTA+GTA:London combo.
Yeah I've seen some gameplay videos of System Shock 2 and it's barely like Bioshock except for having a similar plot twist.
