I know your pain - especially regarding Legendary difficulty.

For me though it's those damn Elites with their Concussion Rifle, which when you manage to pry from their cold, dead fingers seems to lose it's awesome destructive power when you turn it on them.

Bastards.
It's got unlimited ammo for them, and their shields are roughly 10 times stronger than yours. They don't even reload. They just spam shots at you. That'd be why it's better for them. In fact, none of the enemies in that game reload at all. They don't even have to worry about overheating. I've had plenty of jackals hit me with an overcharged plasma shot and then spam 6 shots in my face, leaving me with no shields and barely any health.

So yeah, bastards.

Flame throwers in Deus Ex... one puff, continuously damages you and obscures your vision until you die...
I HAAATE the energy sword in Invisible War. I takes like, three swings to kill someone! OK, maybe the sword in DX 1 was a bit overpowered, but at least it wasn't made of CARDBOARD.

The energy sword in Halo. Not when other players are holding it, but when the Sangheili are.
And the M249 SAW in Counter-Strike: Source. Only when I'm holding it. God I hate using that gun.

The ER Large Laser. I have offered more rubble at the foot of mechs armed solely with that weapon than any other weapon combination you can imagine.

Sniper enemies in any game ever. I always seem to notice one, and make a beeline toward him, only to forget that he has a buddy on another tower that just took away half of my health.

I would have to agree with the Fuel Rod Grunts. They are my most hated enemy in any game.
Unless the stupid dog from Duck Hunt counts. If so, then that dirty bastard.

[img_inline caption="Guile from Street Fighter" height="150" align="left"]http://guides.gamepressure.com/streetfighter4/gfx/word/-2030490734.jpg[/img_inline]Dang you Guile and your cowardly American ways! *shake fist*

He's just a huge massive turtle with only 2 special moves, but thats all he needs to be as annoying as all hell. Try and get in on him, SONIC...BOOM!! Finally get up close enough to do damage, FLASH KICK!!! Try and jump in on him, you either get FLASH KICK!!! or 1...2..STRIKE!!! Sure, when you finally do get in on him, and keep at it, you should be able to take him down, but its no less annoying. That and he is incredibly bland to look at.

if your playing on anything other than realistic you can literally run around instakilling every possible threat and if you have the invisible and sneak augs the game might as well be over...

pussified in CoP...
Yeah I see what your saying, I found snorks more threatening than the controllers or the fat dwarves (burers), both of those are jokes. I guess if I have to have a rethink for CoP I would have to say the Chimeras even if I have only bumped into them for the hunting missions. After killing the wounded one I thought they were pathetic, only later on when you have to kill the one that isn't, I had to have a serious think on how to tackle that. Is anything really that dangerous on Call of Pripyat though?

Yeah the Bloodsuckers are way more dangerous thanks to enhanced AI that thing just rips you apart one bite at a time...

Those freaking ninja-chicks in PoP: WW. So...Bloody...Annoying!
Then the Monkey Gun in Timesplitters Future Perfect. Get in multiplayer with it randomly thrown in=insta-kill.

While replaying Half-Life: Opposing Force, those bastard aliens that shoot lightning at you and have four arms (not vortiguants, but look ahella lot like them). Bastards take so many rounds/explosives, bunch holes through your health, usually travel in packs, and when they die they drop a bug that attacks you like a headcrab for 10hp for hit.

Goddamn, and guess what the most common alien is at the end of the game?

Jeez how could I forget about them, lol another past experience, I was doing the hunting mission at the swamp in the North West of the Yanov map (I think :/) All it involves is killing a few Blood suckers. I went down to the water and killed a few thought I was on the last one but I wasn't, so I took aim to kill "the last one" and another did that freaking grapple move on me. I hate that move, it always makes me jump when I don't expect it. Any ways I am tired and rambling, I'm off. For any one who hasn't played stalker "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVhsGfpAanY" that kinda sums up what a blood sucker attack can be like, bit laggy but all I could find.

I remember one time I was low on health when I was being attacked by a blood sucker while on my way to a mission so instead of killing it I made it follow me to the near by bandit camp where I was supposed to kill someone, long story short NPCs aren't very effective against bloodsuckers though I was playing on Master mode...
