It's got unlimited ammo for them, and their shields are roughly 10 times stronger than yours. They don't even reload. They just spam shots at you. That'd be why it's better for them. In fact, none of the enemies in that game reload at all. They don't even have to worry about overheating. I've had plenty of jackals hit me with an overcharged plasma shot and then spam 6 shots in my face, leaving me with no shields and barely any health.Anoctris said:I know your pain - especially regarding Legendary difficulty.
For me though it's those damn Elites with their Concussion Rifle, which when you manage to pry from their cold, dead fingers seems to lose it's awesome destructive power when you turn it on them.
Bastards.
I HAAATE the energy sword in Invisible War. I takes like, three swings to kill someone! OK, maybe the sword in DX 1 was a bit overpowered, but at least it wasn't made of CARDBOARD.Sacman said:Flame throwers in Deus Ex... one puff, continuously damages you and obscures your vision until you die...
I hear that. I'm still trying to kill the bastard.RobotNinja said:The archdemon from Dragon Age. That bastard is so hard to kill.
if your playing on anything other than realistic you can literally run around instakilling every possible threat and if you have the invisible and sneak augs the game might as well be over...mirror said:I HAAATE the energy sword in Invisible War. yeah but they sort of got pussified in CoP...Beat14 said:Snorks in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Yeah I see what your saying, I found snorks more threatening than the controllers or the fat dwarves (burers), both of those are jokes. I guess if I have to have a rethink for CoP I would have to say the Chimeras even if I have only bumped into them for the hunting missions. After killing the wounded one I thought they were pathetic, only later on when you have to kill the one that isn't, I had to have a serious think on how to tackle that. Is anything really that dangerous on Call of Pripyat though?Sacman said:pussified in CoP...
Yeah the Bloodsuckers are way more dangerous thanks to enhanced AI that thing just rips you apart one bite at a time...Beat14 said:Yeah I see what your saying, I found snorks more threatening than the controllers or the fat dwarves (burers), both of those are jokes. Jeez how could I forget about them, lol another past experience, I was doing the hunting mission at the swamp in the North West of the Yanov map (I think :/) All it involves is killing a few Blood suckers. I went down to the water and killed a few thought I was on the last one but I wasn't, so I took aim to kill "the last one" and another did that freaking grapple move on me. I hate that move, it always makes me jump when I don't expect it. Any ways I am tired and rambling, I'm off. For any one who hasn't played stalker "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OVhsGfpAanY" that kinda sums up what a blood sucker attack can be like, bit laggy but all I could find.Sacman said:Yeah the Bloodsuckers are way more dangerous thanks to enhanced AI that thing just rips you apart one bite at a time...
I remember one time I was low on health when I was being attacked by a blood sucker while on my way to a mission so instead of killing it I made it follow me to the near by bandit camp where I was supposed to kill someone, long story short NPCs aren't very effective against bloodsuckers though I was playing on Master mode...Beat14 said:Jeez how could I forget about them, lol another past experience, I was doing the hunting mission at the swamp in the North West of the Yanov map (I think :/) All it involves is killing a few Blood suckers.
