USS Seolferwulf

It's Anglo-Saxon for "Silver-wolf", the name of a longboat from a rather good book i once read.

My ship name would be the S.S Totally Legitimate. The theory being that if every whacknut in the universe got a spaceship they'd name it stupid crap like anything posted before me. (Not to offend, I love stupid crap.)

Passing by any galactic checkpoint, the S.S Totally Legitimate is more likely to get by space cops than the S.S Grand Cross which will immediately be profiled and pulled over for a routine contraband search.

If it was an 'Enterprise' type ofstar ship I woud call it something like 'Freedom' or 'Fortitude'.

If it was more of a 'Firefly' type ship I would call it 'Eos.'

My ship would probably be a small cruiser/explorer type craft that favours stealth and exploration. So it needs an adventurous mythical name that symbolizes a trek into the unknown and the heroic individuals on board that venture to precarious star systems beyond known space.

So it'd have to be USS Argo.

Sums it up well .. beoth the adventurous spirit into the unknown, and the heroic people on board.

For an explorer-type ship I'd likely go with (in this order) Endeavour, Discovery, Intrepid, Endurance, or Inception.

For a warship... Invincible, Dreadnought, Defiance, Victory, Hood, or Warrior.

I personally don't like the USS in Star Trek, I've often wondered if Gene Roddenberry actually knew what it stands for when he first wrote Star Trek, it should be something like FSS (Federation Star Ship), UFSS (United Federation Star Ship), or my personal favourite FSV (Federation Star Vessel).

It's not a slur against the Americans, it just doesn't make sense to me and hurts the immersion in the game, imagine if he had chose HMS Enterprise and every time you heard it you'd blink like I do hearing USS.

I'd say: The USS Keith Apicary, but I'd actually go for: BNS (Belgium Naval Ship) Stargate. To see if it would create a time-space paradox and destroy all universes.

DAMN YOU!

I'd probably want to call my ship Victory or Britannia, but it doesn't really go with the 'USS' prefix.
