I've noticed in quite a lot of films one of the heroes tends to fake their own death.
And oddly enough, whenever they return their families always seem to accept them straight back.
I can understand why. Youd probably be very relieved. I was wondering what the escapists reactions would be if a loved one they thought was dead suddenly turned up at your doorstep.
I'd be ecstatic at first. But after a while I would start questioning things. Like, what as so important they had to fake their death and why they didnt trust me enough to tell me.
(Was mainly thinking about Gordon from The Dark Night).
